its funny, i would say a mourning gecko or a group (trio perhaps) is an exceptionally easy to take care of reptile pet… however allowing it to become a full colony then shifts it to a much more difficult pet.
That being said, they are amazing pets! I love how they chirp and eat mostly MRP smoothies but love to chow down on my isopod culls. Their eggs are great for diet variety in my other pets (my turtle, the desert teneb colony, and the isopods) which is awesome. And they’re pretty geckos too — not flashy, but their patterns shifting as they emote is so beautiful.
