Young man found dead in downtown hotel room.
CHICAGO, IL — Officers have found a young man dead in his downtown Chicago hotel room this early afternoon after the victim had failed to check out at his designated time. The man’s identity has yet to be found and it appears that he has been dead for at least a day.
His cause of death is also unknown, but officers say it is bizarre. His body is has been supposedly encased by some “chemical substance” which is “currently unidentifiable” from first glance. The body has been sent to the State Medical Office for identification, examination, and testing. The Chicago Police Department are currently launching an investigation.
“This is a strange case,” said Captain Sean Smith. “But we’re getting on it as fast as we can.”
Officials say the man appears to be in his early to mid-20s and seems to be of Caucasian descent. No identification was found on the body and though his clothes were ripped, there was no indication of robbery.
Police suspect foul play was involved.

Three young men found dead within days of each other.
CHICAGO, IL — Officers have found another young man dead in a hotel room last Thursday night, following the deaths of two other young men whose bodies were found earlier this week last Tuesday and Wednesday. The man’s identity has yet to be found.
His cause of death is also unknown, but retains the same bizarre pattern as the other two men. His body has also hardened by some “strange chemical substance” and it is speculated to be the same as the two young men from before, as they appear to be the similar.
The Chicago Police Department are investigating the death and trying to see if there is a link in this mysterious string of recent deaths.
“They [the deaths] seem to be linked,” said Captain Sean Smith. “We don’t know how yet, but we’re trying to find out quickly.”
Officials say the man appears to be in his early to mid-20s, around the same age as the men from before. No identification was found on the body and his clothes were substantially ripped. There was no indication of robbery, as his wallet was found in his possession.
The body has been turned over to the State Medical Office for identification, examination, and testing. Police said it appeared that foul play was involved and are continuing to investigate the case.
