happy new year!! this blog will be undergoing some change over the next couple days as i’ve decided to start with a clean slate and remake, please bear with me and wishing everyone a very fun and loving new year 💓🤟

from what recess of her brain andie pulled the quote, she honestly couldn't tell you. jurassic park probably isn't even in her top 10 movies. she watched it a handful of times with her dad, but not recently. and she certainly didn't think she ever paid enough attention to retain any quotes from it. but spider-man had jogged some memory or overturned some rock in her brain that revealed the quote to her.

anyway, she doesn't get a chance to answer him because spider-man crashed into the glass in front of them. andie, not as distracted as her spider-themed cohort, is able to brace in time and lands neatly against the glass above him.

by the time she lands they've shaken it off and are finishing their earlier question. so she also gives a little wave to the office-worker, and tries not to fret too much.

slamming into the side of a building is something they all do on occasion (they being spider people, or similarly adjacent heroes). andie is especially prone to it while texting, which she's not too embarrassed to admit because swinging is a very delicate and hard process and sometimes it's necessary to also be texting, as inconvenient as it may be. so fretting really won't do any good considering it's likely spider-man is 100% a-okay.

following spider-man's lead she shoots a web up to the roof. "i honestly couldn't tell you. i don't even know the last time i saw the movie." she scrutinizes him "you are okay, right?"

okay, so she's always gonna fret a little.

the office worker meets the gazes of both spider-heroes and, rightfully so, stares in shock. they get up from their desk, for what pete can only assume is to beckon their coworkers. it's a shame really that both spider-man and lovebug are already gone by the time it happens. then again, it's a little fun for him this way.

"yeah, i'm-" he gives her a small thumbs up, and a nod he hopes is assuring. it really isn't unlike a simple fall to him. he's slammed into buildings, cars, pillars, what have you, and that was by far low stakes. he doubts he's within 90 degrees of a bruise from the incident. "you don't have to worry about me." giving andie's head a little playful push, "i'm not nearly as helpless as you think."

andie means well with her concern, he's sure of it, but peter's always going to brush it off, wave a hand, and especially when it comes to her. his job is to worry-- hers is to pay attention to all that he's trying to show her. "now where were we?" spinning around, he catches sight of the building in question from the conversation they'd started well before his reference or his faceplant. point out towards it, "there!"

his head tilts down towards andie, and although he's masked it's obvious that he's grinning. "best place for a view of the whole parade."

GOOOOOD MORNING! today i’d just like to say (although i know i say it a lot) that i am very thankful for this blog and the people here and the people i’ve met. it’s given me so many wonderful friends who i truly do love hearing from and talking to and it’s given me a lot of comfort during rough times. it’s allowed me to do a whole lot of writing and character development which i’m so thankful to have a space for. it’s been just over a year of this blog and i’m just overall very thankful for it! this is a fun space and a loving space and that’s all thanks to everyone here!

if we haven’t done much talking this year and we’ve just been ships passing in the night… LET’S CHANGE THAT! let’s talk more in the new year and let’s welcome all the chaos! i may not be the most active atm but i am always always open to messages and memes and new people to welcome into my heart and to know

She does not explain, and he does not ask: he knows better than to pierce a moment like this, for all that the questions worry him. He can settle for the hug, for now: for being there for a friend and smiling at their laughter because he knows that's as much as he can offer.

He'll keep trying to piece it together, and he'll try to figure out if there's anything he can do to help, because that's who he is: there's very little he wouldn't do for a friend. That does include, however, knowing when to push, and when not to. And he treasures that laugh of hers far too much to push.

"You did." He concedes, magnanimously, even if his grin soon after takes away any faint sharpness the words could have had. "And while the hug helps, I'd suggest getting somewhere warmer soon, before we both become ice statues." He agrees.

her eyes squeeze shut, a light cringe at herself, "sorry." for all their listening skills, their ability to sit still and lend an ear, liam's learned they've got themself quite a tricky habit that seems to surface when their emotions bubble up-- interrupting people. it's never intentional, and never with any harm or hope for it. it's excitement, an overwhelming feeling of it constantly in their chest and their throat that makes sitting quiet almost unbearable. they have to contribute, they have to show their love and their interest. in a lot of ways, while hugging isn't talking-- or showing any further interest in his words-- it means all the same to liam.

they pull away from the hug, instead linking their free arms together and start to pull harry along. "right! good plan!"

liam's practically rushing now in the direction of home, not too worried about any possible spillage of their coffee after having been unable to wait earlier when they first got them. "okay, so what were you..." they have to think back to the conversation they were in no more than a couple moments ago, but it comes up a little blank.

good morning! neither liam or peter were raised believing in santa. it wasn’t really something that was consciously done with either set of families but it also wasn’t something they were necessarily shying away from. liam and peter both heard about santa and certainly knew of him and the various christmas stories. they’d seen the 90-00s films about santa and what not, but it wasn’t like some serious secret their families were set on keeping. the kazes didn’t celebrate christmas to begin with, and by the time that peter started living with ben and may he already knew he wasn’t real so they didn’t bother. between the two, peter is a secret keeper when it comes to santa and liam is more likely to accidentally spill that he isn’t real

"that's the best attitude to have about it in my fucking book." liam's dealt with their own endless list of experiences from being in the public view. it doesn't shock them for a moment that katrina has had death threats or anything else for that matter. it's part of it-- not that they're okay with it by any means, but you learn to let it all wash off. "but also, people do want to be you-- i know how it sounds," there's a smile on their lips, "but out there is some kid wearing a kit with your name on the back of it, and that's a fact for the record, because i've spied about ten of 'em in the stands."

good morning! although a rather weird thing to hope for, liam wants to meet another liam. liam’s met so many roxy’s and harry’s and peter’s but she kinda wants to know what it would be like to meet another version of themself. they don’t really believe in any of the myths or superstitions that it’d bring about the end of times. there are plenty of liam’s out there and they exist in all the little other verses i write for them but mostly liam isn’t meeting other liam’s in the multiverse because it’s just not in their fate to. of course liam doesn’t seem to be the most fate following of people so it does occur and the first liam meets is an absolute civilian who goes onto becomes a researcher. it’s a little freaky how it feels like they read each other’s minds and know what the other might suggest or is thinking, and in a strange and unexpected way it reminds them of being with roxy because of their emotional link
