So this these are the three siblings, I’m later gonna do the ladies but I felt too inspired for them and so now there’s gonna be a little rant (embrace yourself, sorry for the bad English it’s not my first language).
First I wanted to talk about how all of Kronos kids will have something in common, and in Zeus’s case it’ll be incredibly evident: gold and white. Kronos, in my vision, has golden eyes, an albino skin and pearly white hair (yes I will do a design for him at one point). He haunts the narrative, it might not be as evident as when the Olympians are kids but after the titan war it’ll have a GREAT impact on them, seeing the familiar traits of the father who literally ate them in themselves will most definitely not be fun.
Poseidon has some naturally white streaks in his hair, Hades has Kronos golden eyes, Zeus has A L L, from the albino skin to the golden eyes and the white hair.
Poseidon is the one who I actually like the most in this drawing, his hair are always floating almost as if they’re under water and they can only get longer and longer as time goes, he has a tendency to playfully hide around the corals, the seashell on his necklace is actually just a normal seashell he found and that he liked particularly because he felt like it could glow and every time he put his ear against it he felt like he was in the water again. He is naturally tanned, wanted also to give some vibes of not only the Mediterranean but also some island like vibes, hope it can make sense as much as it does to me hahaha.
I really wanted to show that he IS the youngest, he plays around, appears out of the clouds in with his childish like attitude, clouds change their colours and cloud the skies based on his mood. He’s still always found in the clouds, till recent times he rarely comes down from them and Olympus if not for his…well, mortal encounters… His design is actually mostly inspired by Hercules the Disney movie since I was and still am such an obsessed little art kid.
His hair are made of fluffy clouds he still has no idea how to take care of, has no control whatsoever over his lightings, he just knows that if he tries enough one or two my bolt through the sky.
As Orpheus once beautifully sang “King of shadows, king of shades” Hades’s design is pretty simple, even more then Zeus’s. His hair are made of actual moving shapes, it’s hard for him to have a tidy hair style like he’d like, he likes order. His limbs since he was a newborn has this weird black translucent effect that just kept on growing as he grew more and more (yes, obviously inspired from Hades but can you blame me? That game’s my favourite). To this day the translucent effect showing his whole skeleton now reached almost his jaw, the shadows became easier to tame but he could never control the fading until one day it just stopped. His skin colour is actually pretty greyish, dead like, he was a skinny kid but he has always been tall and most importantly, he’s always knew how to deal the business behind the great things of life, like death, the shadows and the richness that lets you live peacefully, for that he always kept a little sack of money to his side.
As I’ve said before, his eyes are as golden as his father’s and after being freed out of his stomach and after winning the Titan war he’ll have a very similar golden scar to him, imma just say a n g s t .
