shit i thought of DL papamaki
hello everyone. i hope everybody is happy and doing well. this post is regarding some shit i thought of during the last few months. feel free to cause ragebait and shit, coz i will not be reading it as im mentally preparing my mood for my exams yes my finals for the 3rd damn time in a row. so be a darling and keep those ragebaits of the comment section. ok enough yapping. lets get down to business shall we?
first off, lets talk about karl. what do we know of karl? well we know that mr. papamaki is:
absent father who watches from the shadows
suicidal (coz he wants to die fast iykyk)
a scientist a very cold detached scientist
manipulator aka puppeeteer
so taking these facts, i constructed a theory. so how many of you have watched dracula? or any version of dracula (aka hotel transylvania, dracula untold, castlevania, dark shadows, yeah yeah blah blah yada yada etc yk the shit stop acting and research)? in every version we see dracula, a man who traded his humanity or his emotions in return of a power one can possess to destroy and construct a new race. but if you have a close eye, you would also notice, its not his heart and emotions he loses from becoming a vampire, but his wife as well. in many versions we see dracula's moral anchor was his first wife who died by the hands of his enemy. he later waits for her reincarnation in many centuries. very little is known of karlhienz. but we all are aware that he is the one responsible for this entire fucking mess. now, the reason i thought of this was because i was analysing his relationship with each woman he married and i noticed this: none gave him a heart or a change. if you have a good eye, you would notice that all these women were fighting for his status and power clearly to keep him in favor. this is exactly like those ancient chinese or asian kingdoms back when the king never got to marry the woman he desired as he got bethrothed to multiple women for political gain and those said women fought to keep him in favor or they lose their position in the court. so, we know cordelia is his first wife, but have you ever thought was she his first love? ah, now you see. think again if you dont. lets talk about their ages, karl is old ASF. christa or beatrix should come in second. and finally cordelia, why? cordelia's actions seem very immature and it is also clear she is very childish compared to the other moms. not that im trash talking but simply the truth so cordelia stans sit back and be quiet. cordelia is seen to throw tantrums when karl didnt visit her as he promised, she is also seen to take out her frustrations on her kids. christa is karl's cousin, which means she may know karl better compared to the other two. beatrix would be considered the eldest as she is the most mature woman from the three.
now i understand, what does the age have to do? well, taking to consideration, karl has lived for many years and centuries. he's watched many people , who were dear to him and not, die. which would explain his emotional detachment and nihilism. wouldnt you as well feel that if you lived for a long time watching people you cared about died before you while you watched them get buried and rot beneath you? from the brothers, in terms of personality i noticed shu and laito resemble him in personality in some traits. both are nihilistic and shu is numb after he lost edgar aka yuma (now now, BL lovers hold your horses, im not stating they are lovers im stating they were best friends, its ok i understand) so would it not be possible that karl may have had a woman before cordelia? think about it. cordelia comes into the picture later. christa stated that karl didnt love her, which means christa may have known abit about karl's life before well she went insane. my theory is that, karl may have had a wife, way before cordelia. she may have died by the hands of someone he hated. and along with her death was his heart and emotions.
now i know some of you would state that karl had true emotions for cordelia, but let me stop you right there. we know karl is also a very big manipulator and puppeteer. so any emotion he displays may be a mask to hide the true emotion. some of you quote his final words to cordelia "my beloved cordelia" and said that tone sounded sad. but remember the same tone can fit that of pity and disappointment. karl's emotions were never known to be genuine. rather they were all masks he wore to act his role in the experiment. cordelia's obsession with karl was his looks and power, not love. It was purely out of convenience; all of his marriages were. karl used all of his wives for their blood lines, their status, and trauma bonding. have you noticed that their relationship was rather.. bland? there's no emotion, just one sided.
so in conclusion, my theory is that nor cordelia, christa or beatrix were his true love, but a woman who may have been in his life a long time ago before cordelia was even in the picture. her death, may have taken his heart with her, therefore he became nihilistic. now this is a theory, not canon. so dont blow up the comment box of how you think karldelia was good. it is not good. i repeat, its very toxic and limited to growth between two individuals.
so yeah thats all. i do have some other shit i have to talk of but that'll be in another post so stay tuned.
