I loved it. It’s a genuinely dark, heavy story about broken adults raising broken children in the midst of war, and then those children go on to break each other’s lives. The kind of dark fantasy that warmed my heart, and now I’m eagerly waiting for the second volume.🕯️

Suddenly finished rendering Venn — I missed him a lot. The wings still aren’t quite where I want them to be, but it’s definitely better than just a sketch, so I’m counting it as a win 😤

And god, I love this detached yet still incredibly characteristic expression on Vee so much, I can’t!! He’s terrifyingly emotionless in-universe — the guy has severe alexithymia and barely recognizes emotions in general.
