Sorry if you’ve already answered something like this, but having reached your current size, how do you feel about being accommodated in public spaces? Such as when traveling; or needing a table vs booth at a restaurant; or in professional spaces such as in the office? I’m assuming this is something that you gradually became used to as you grew, but was just curious how you manage any anxieties (if any at all) about that now that you’ve become larger.
By the way you look phenomenal and I hope my question wasn’t crass!
In my experience so far, the best way to diffuse anxiety around accommodations in public is by trying to plan ahead.
Are you going to a restaurant you haven’t been to before? Poke around online to find a photo of their seating.
Be realistic about needing 2 seats on a plane, or at a theatre, or at a stadium, and make plans as needed.
That doesn’t mean you can avoid awkward things altogether. I’ve had to have a hostess find a different table when they tried to seat our otherwise straight-sized group in a booth. I’ve had to have a conversation at work about desk chairs after the office got renovated and procurement bought a bunch of inexplicably narrow task chairs with unmovable arm rests. But advocating for myself not only made sure I was comfortable and less likely to break any furniture, it makes things better for the next person that also has to have that talk.
