I’ve made a list of speculative evolution stuff you can find on the web for free :) Will be updated as I find more! Let me know if any links are bad or don’t work for you.

Soon-to-be-dead Strider:
random thought
hypothetically, a sufficiently large crab could possibly evolve intelligence, considering that it'd have the required hands and, if large enough, brainpower
probably best to use coconut crab stock, since it's already terrestrial, and already the largest terrestrial arthropod on Earth
Ok so, here’s a funky fact: in the early evolution of fish, the claspers (reproductive organs still present in modern sharks) actually began as a genuine third pair of limbs. Sooo what if instead of becoming purely reproductive, the claspers instead developed into full on legs.
Basically what I’m saying here is six-finned fish -> hexapedal early tetrapods -> hexapedal temnospondyls -> hexapodal tiny weirdo arboreal dendrerpetids that develop membranes to glide -> amphibian dragons
they have little grabby hands and spurt venom out of their mouths and they are my precious new babies
WE COULD HAVE BEEN HEXAPEDAL?!?!?!?! WEVE BEEN CHEATED
Basically the entire speculative evolution community
Screwing around with the idea of a former dead mall being turned into the new town center, with the former monument to big capitalism now having locally owned businesses, maybe a small church, an edible garden. The big stores are now home to stalls where people sell their crafts or secondhand items. Or they've been taken over by libraries! If there's a theater, it still plays movies, visions of another time, or maybe it can be rented out to play other things. Could have a shelter in there, for people who need a place to stay for the night. A community center with exercise equipment and classes you can take. The food court still sells food. The intercom sometimes plays vaporwave ironically.
I just think you could really do something with those massive buildings other than just tear them down or leave them to rot...
I've been on a solarpunk kick though I'm not sure this really falls into that category...
Anyone have thoughts to share?

Okay so I'm sure this has already been thought of and done, but, Dragons be real. We have flying lizards. There very small, but they are lizards that fly. Boom, dragon.
