From About Face: Supermodels then and now
Black People make me happy.
This is the exact reason why so many girls are afraid to say anything when they are sexually abused.
Itās so much sadder when you find out he pled guilty and got this harsh sentence because he didnāt want his daughter to testify and relive her molestation on the stand.
Had she testified, he probably could have gotten a lenient sentence.
How to be an ally.
Please watch
Guess which one caused outrageā¦.
āI had a bacterial infection when I was two that turned into gangrene. People donāt believe all the things I can do. Like write. I have some of the best handwriting in my class.ā She put her arms together to show me how she would hold a pencil or pen.Ā āAre you in school?āĀ āWell I just finished medical school to become a medical assistant.ā Just then she got a phone call, swiped open the touch screen and effortlessly held the phone up to her ear. I waited patiently as she tried to work out some logistics with a family member. āThat was my grandma. Sheās on her way to pick me up and take me to my dance studio.āĀ āYou dance?āĀ āYeah, you should come to my performance.āĀ I told her I would absolutely love to.
Sheās precious.
Im amazed
IāM GOING TO SCREAM
I mean???? She has a point

@millennial-review Should I reference something/anything Hillary has done? Or like
I donāt know why people like you go straight for Hillary Clinton, that part of this is over. Iām not much of a Hillary Clinton fan. She would be better than Trump, no doubt about that. Still, the campaign is over. Itās over. IT IS OVER. Donald Trump is president. He wakes up in the White House everyday (minus the days heās golfing in Florida), not Hillary Clinton. Please hold him accountable like he was Hillary, or Bill, or as if his skin was black and his name was Barack Obama. Please, he needs his base and his supporters to hold him accountable. Call liberals hypocrites all you want, but selling out the country while you do it isnāt really going to get us anywhere.

1) Hair was nowhere brought up until your weak ass comment with a kissy face emoji came along. You aināt cute, Eliza.
2) Hair has no significance at all. Wigs, weaves, extensions have no importance to any race whatsoever. Thatās right, Libby, having straight/wavy/curly hair isnāt exclusive to blackness, whiteness, and any race in between.
3) Hairstyles, however, have significance. Hairstyles such as cornrows, braids, and dreadlocks have cultural significance that is exclusive to Africans. So, if we see yo unseasoned ass wearing cornrows, that cultural appropriation, because the hairstyle doesnāt belong to you and Black people are getting shitted on for wearing cornrows at the same time.
But wait⦠We canāt have your hairstyle but you can straighten your hair? Thatās hypocritical!
No, Annabelle, itās not. Living in the US, African Americans get discriminated for wearing their African hairstyles.Ā
1) You can be denied from getting a job because your Black hairstyle isĀ āunprofessionalā and looksĀ āunkemptā. Whatās crazy is that itās completely legal.Ā So Black people, especially Black girls, have to wear wigs, relax their hair, or just cut their hair just to get a fuckinā job.
2) Due to European beauty standards, Black hairstyles isnāt attractive nor desirable⦠Unless itās on a White girl.Ā So Black girls have to buy wigs, weaves, and extensions, and relax their hair just to appeal to societyās standards of beauty. But you got nothinā to worry about, Susan. You benefit from this double standard.
3) Itās calledĀ āAssimilationā, Rebecca. When Black people have to conform to societyās standards whether to look more appealing to the general public, or look more professional to get a job, by relaxing their hair, and buying weaves n extensions, itās an assimilation.Ā
Until society can stop shitting on Black people w/ Black hairstyles and get the same amount of praise that White people get for wearing them, we maybe generous and not mind yāall wearing em. But you see, yāall fucked up! So until that double standard gets dismantled, stay in your fuckināĀ lane Dakota.
