Happy New Year ✨
Brush Week day 7: Lovely Brush 💞
This week was a lot of fun! It was really interesting to see how many different design tropes people came up with while working with the same theme. Looking forward to doing this challenge again next year 🙏
Brush Week day 6: Lagoon Brush 🐚
Brush Week day 5: Wretched Brush 🕸
Brush Week day 4: Clean Brush 🧼
With this brush he acquired an ability to see the future in soap bubbles
Brush Week day 3: Garden Brush 🌼
Brush Week day 2: Plushie Brush
I didn't have time to finish the reference for the original design yesterday, so I'm leaving it here:
I decided to participate in @catmask’s Brush Week challenge ✨
The objective of the challenge is to redesign the same character based on today’s brush theme. I’ll be redesigning the Wizard from my card game Enchantland.

Art for one of my old games — Living in the Light 🌟
A new boss joins the ranks — Miner.
The Prototype Will Be Ready Soon! 🔥 The game rules, four bosses, five player characters, and over 50 corresponding cards are fully drafted. (At this stage, it would be great to have a name for the game, but I can’t think of anything catchy)
It's time to announce a new board game theme!
And it is... computer viruses! You and your friends will play as the good guys in this cooperative game. Your goal is to defeat one of the bosses. More details under the cut:
Boss Fight Idea I took a riddle I saw on the TED-Ed channel and turned it into a location.
My players needed to reach an ancient temple, but the only way across was a rope bridge guarded by a single enemy. Oh boy, they were stuck there for a long time!
The catch is that a player can't finish their movement unless they land on one of the nodes. Each piece of rope connecting two nodes is 30 feet long. To use Dash while on the net, a player must succeed on an Acrobatics check.
With these restrictions, the guard will always remain two ropes away from the players—unless they reach the final node (check the original video for a detailed explanation). Players can either solve the puzzle or take down the guard with ranged attacks.
The guard’s stats shouldn’t be too high, but he should have a ranged weapon (I used spears). I also recommend giving him a monk's ability to deflect projectiles. Alternatively, you can replace the guard with a spider or another fitting creature.
This fight works best at early levels when players don’t yet have spells that allow them to bypass the net easily.
It's common for game characters to begin their journey in small towns and visit bigger cities as the story progresses. One such starting point could be the village named Hayloft. It is inhabited by living vegetables—whether it's a mandrake dreaming of becoming a bard or a scarecrow-pumpkin who, ironically, attracts birds instead of scaring them away.
Once players complete their first quest here, the village may bloom, or its appearance could change depending on the season. This approach allows the location to be revisited later in the story. Players will enjoy remembering their first adventure while experiencing the transformed village in a completely new way.
