I didn't share this from Instagram the right way, but I'm processing the news of Kentaro Miura's passing earlier this month. Exactly one year ago, a friend of mine handed me his manga collection of berserk and since I'm a fan of Dark Souls and Bloodborne which are inspired by Berserk, I read the series. Not knowing that he would pass away exactly one year later. I genuinely mean it when I say that an author's passing usually doesn't affect me very much. But this one certainly does right now. His story became something that meant so much. It taught me the most of what a man goes through in a time of vulnerability and when a man loves his partner. What trials he goes through to gain what he's lost. And most of all, Berserk was what taught me about loving one another. No matter the circumstances. Thank you so much Miura-san. There is no other that makes people feel in so much awe than you have done.
