We could walk endlessly and never get tired. Envy would breach upon your wonder as you realize that this is the way of life of people you walk past.
Memories are the souvenirs of the heart and parables of the mind.
Of all goodbyes, the one with the sun that sets on you is the hardest. The blanched town lines up with its warm lights like a silver lining, befitting its final heave of consent as it sends me off.

After being on an international transport forum, this is one sight that cools down the mind. You don't need to re-plan, revise land-use, or even build green spaces. By itself, though chaotic, is beautiful.
An interesting take on bell towers. Allow me to reach into the deepest pockets of my imagination and declare this as my throne. The sweet throne of separation. The seat is the space in the middle, your arms fixed by the thick walls that also blind that noisy peripheral view. You put your head into the bell with its clapper rested square on your nose. The horn-like protrusions seems to be displeased and turned their backs on each other. They could just be confused arches that went the wrong way. On a windy day, you can wear your shirt, hanger still intact, and hang yourself on either horn. The foolish wind will become you and you, the wind.
Our lone cruise ship as seen from a hotel/bar in Fira.
Roof Surfin. Apologies to all the Greeks whose houses we dangerously stepped on, just to get photos.
Its magic lies underneath its skirt. You can peek once, you will peek some more and yet you can never take hold. It bites, but only to hold you back. Weird.
The interior of Hagia Sophia. My favorite man made structure that gives off this wondrous strange yet tangible impression that you are only a tiny spec in this universe and how man try to achieve greatness, that only affirms his mortality.
Photo taken July 2012.
The Grand Bazaar. Trading where Asia meets Europe, it has to be grand. It is an imposing heavyweight yet docile as it shares its history through the walls and its begotten culture. A visitor would have to stack stones to get out of this ant house-like network.
The Blue Mosque stands behind the domes of Hagia Sophia where this is taken.
