WHEN HE LAUGHED, the blonde’s eyes widened a bit, not understanding. though even though she opened her mouth to say something, nothing came out. instead, he spoke up again. once more she opened her mouth to speak, raising her shoulders, her heart beating in her throat. god, she wished she could laugh along and tell him she was just kidding. she was too young for this – they weren’t even together. she was nothing but a good fuck to him, and that thought made her avert her gaze to the ground, shaking her head softly. “i don’t know how it’s possible, wyatt, i just know i am. i’ve taken – a billion tests…” she said, all her fears and frustrations coming out now as she looked back up at him, eyes peering into his as she shook her head. “they all came out positive. i missed my period. i went to see a gynecologist.” the blonde said, tears forming in her eyes. though she had to stay strong. the last thing she wanted was cry in front of him. “i’m over four weeks far, wyatt. and it has to be yours. i haven’t – i haven’t slept with anyone else.” cece rambled. when it all had come out, she bit her lip, taking a few deep breaths. oh god, she hoped so dearly he wouldn’t freak out…
HER VOICE FADES as the reality of it finally hits him. he’s not sure if he should sit himself down because he’s quite positive his knees are about to give out, or comfort the teary-eyed soon-to-be-mother in front of him. though both seem like decent ideas, all wyatt can do is stumble away from her, his hands just about the only thing holding his head up. “you’re... pregnant.” he whispers, like maybe if he says it quietly enough it somehow won’t be real because it can’t be. wyatt is entirely too sure that he’s not ready to be a father. sure, he enjoyed spending time with his sister’s kids, but as soon as their smiles faltered or an unusual smell filled the air, he’d hand them back without even thinking about it. he’d feel too guilty leaving cece alone to deal with a baby on her own, yeah, but that didn’t mean he’d even know what to do if he stuck around -- if she even wanted him around. “are you keeping it?” it’s an awful thing to ask, and he know’s it, but they’re both too young and they don’t know anything of real substance about each other, and he’s really starting to panic because his career is finally taking off, finally has something to show his parents, but this... how would he even tell them?
