Gaia, by Luke Jerram, at The Old Painted Hall in London. The installation aims to create a sense of the Overview Effect (a feeling of awe for the planet, a profound understanding of the interconnection of all life, and a renewed sense of responsibility for taking care of the environment) through mimicking the experience of astronauts passing the planet from afar. It was pretty beautiful at night, especially in the setting of the hall which is already so breathtaking.
“I could have told you 'bout the long nights, how no one loves the birds that don't rise”
