Zero’s sword is something he’s carried since the beginning of his personal war on Frieza. He found it jutting out of the ground in the ruins of a devastated capital on a ravaged former Frieza planet. He took on this blade as a symbol of ending tyranny in the universe, and carries it to this day.

At one point, it received heavy wear and tear. Not wanting to part ways with his trusty weapon, he used up a very big favor in order to coat it with Katchin, one of the rarest and strongest substances in the known universe. As a result, it is nigh-unbreakable.

❛  heh. more like the opposite. ❜ it’s all talk but he passes it off with a smirk and a flip of his hair. it’s not fear it’s minor discomfort with the idea. he’s not used to fighting friends –well they certainly aren’t friends but they aren’t exactly foes either….allies perhaps? aside from sparring, he has yet to raise his fists to a non enemy. he stays in base form, lunging forward to aim for a punch straight to the other’s jaw. 

    There it was, and a fast attack at that. Still, easy to see coming. Zero catches the boy’s fist with his hand, skidding back an inch or two. Not bad, but clearly there was more to the kid’s power than he was letting on. “Good enough, you’re not a total lost cause after all.”

How many sleepless years flew by as you struggled to remain ALIVE, just for the sake of making the galaxy better for the sake of others? Brand deals and CURRENCY, you think being flashy makes you some sort of hero? Grow up, boy.”
