"An Emeritus? Here? I though you all were killed off for that new fool" ~ArdorGhoulette
@ardorghoulette
The Third Emeritus looked up from the paper he had been reading. He chuckled as good naturedly as he could for one who was still bitter over the situation. Papa shook his head and flicked his wrist theatrically.Â
âAs much as some might wish it, no, my dear. My brothers and I are alive and well. Consider it a, how is it called- a publicity stunt?â
The anti pope sighed a longing and dramatic sigh.Â
âCruel fate for the project? Yes. But here I am, still serving my reign!âÂ
âI donât wish you dead Pops. I just didnât know that you were still kicking. Itâs good to see that you are though. It wouldâve been such a waste to just throw you and your brothers out just causeâÂ
âThe project has been fucked for a while if you ask me. I donât think some old lady should have the say in matters that she has no part inâ
Had Papa not had his own personal experience with fire ghouls (namely Alpha), he might have been taken aback by Ardorâs bluntness. But what where fire ghouls if not extremely passionate and tactlessly blunt?Â
He grinned and wagged a finger. Despite being amused so greatly. How could one not when talking about the old bat like this??Â
âaaaah, careful my dear- talk like that might get you in trouble. How does the saying go? âLoose lips sink shipsâ?â
He laughed, waving it off with a flick of his hand and a playful wink.
âDonât worry. Your Papa will not tell.â
âWho the fuck says that?â She made a face that was somewhere between completely confused and slightly disgusted. âIâve never heard that before in my lifeâ
Her hands found her hips
âCourse you wonât tell. You hate the old hag more than most of us Iâm sure. Her stealing your fame and accomplishments and just handing it over to some rat. One that I donât trust and Iâve been here for about a month.â
The den mother was furious. Normally, she was more composed, but this? This was too much. Mint hunted down the fire ghoulette- the own embers of her fury stoked beyond belief. When she located Ardor she ran up, delivering one giant slap across the ghoulette's face. "Don't you DARE talk to Aether like that again!! You have NO idea what happened! How DARE you stick your nose where it doesn't belong!!" (No hard feelings, she's protective :'D, Mintyghoulette)
Ardor saw Mint speed walking up to her. She figure what it was all about. But she didnât expect the slap. Still she took it her head being forced to the side with the blow.
She growled, lifting her hand and delivering a slap with much more force to the small ghouletteâs cheek with the back of her hand. âFunny you should talk about him like a god but you go and get knocked up by who ever will fuck youâ
Her eyes were burning red, smoke poured from her nostrils and her skin bubbled with the burning rage she was trying to contain. âStop acting like a saint when you are nothing but a disappointment to all those that loved and believed in youâ
She growled and stomped âI wanted to be your friend⌠But Fuck youâ
@mintyghoulette
The taller ghouletteâs Words stung. A guilty side of her felt that she probably deserved it. Mint had no right to act like Aethers protector or Ifritâs keeper. But emotion was strong and she wouldnât back down. The slap might have taken her by surprise, but how can she deliver a blow and not expect retaliation? Ardors word hurt more than her return ever could. Mint returned the stomp. âIfrit isnât just SOMEBODY!! You could NEVER understand what we had before all this happened! Aether isnât a god and Iâm not a saint- but we sure as Hell all had SOMETHING together!!â Mint was too gone with emotion. She stood up to Ardor, practically chest to chest. âYou have no right to judge me! You donât know what weâve been through! Just because Ifrits running to you now doesnât mean I was just some random one night stand!â
Ardor smirked. She had clearly hit a nerve. She leaned in close to mints face âare you sure about that?â She cackled âbecause he sure as hell hasnât even brought up your nameâ
She crossed her arms, pleased with how upset she had made the little earth ghoulette. âMaybe you should run back to Aether. See if he wants you when you tell him you have HIS mateâs kit pumped into youâ
The words hit her harder than any physical blow could. She saw victory in the fire Ghouletteâs as the den mother physically wilted. Mint used the last of her strength to hold herself up, to stand straight and not cry. She couldnât give Ardor that. âDo you⌠really not care? How your words cause so much pain?â She shook her head, she didnât want an answer. She was too tired to fight anymore. âJust be good to Ifrit. He deserves itâŚâ
âI do care. But did you care about pain when you stormed in here and slapped me for doing nothing more than voicing my opinionâ Ardor took a step closer to mint. âI hurt no one. Yet you stormed in here and slapped me with close to all of your weight behind it.
Her shoulders raised in a shrug âI did feel bad for you and your situation. But what do you expect me to do when you come at me like you did?â She took another step towards the dentist mother. She paused awkwardly before fully embracing her.
âThere is no reason to be so upset. Everything will work out. And I know you probably hate me but Iâll still do what I can for you. No matter what happens with Ifritâ the fire ghoulette hid her face in Mintâs shoulder as she spoke. It was a weakness in her clan to feel how she did. If they knew she would be cast out and not given a second thought.
Mint had tensed as Ardor approached- almost expecting them to be caught in a scrap. But she froze when she felt arms wrap tightly around her. Mint was shocked, and guilt began to gnaw at her. She hugged back and had to choke back tears. Somehow the ghoulette managed. Mint looked up to Ardor.Â
âSatanas, Iâm so sorry Ardor⌠Iâm truly so sorry. Youâre right, I had no right to hurt you like thatâŚâ
She reached up to brush a tear out of her eye, adjusting her mask.Â
âiâŚ. that was my fault, and Iâm so sorry. I thought⌠I thought you had been pointing out everything with us⌠I thought you were making fun of what happened with Aether.. but thatâs not what you meant. And even if it was true, I had no right to strike you like thatâŚâ
Mint shook her head, ashamed of her actions.Â
âDamn, I canât say Iâm sorry enough⌠I donât hate you. I donât think I ever could. I just⌠Iâm sorryâÂ
She huffed. Glad that the den mother felt the same way. âI shouldnât have said some of those things. I canât apologize but Iâm sure you understandâ it was always looked down on to feel for others on such a level. But as long as none of the others knew then it wouldnât really matter.
âWant to start again, maybe a little nicer this time?â Ardor rubbed Mintâs back before pulling away and sticking out her hand.
âHi. Iâm Ardor. Iâm a fire ghoulette from a clan of volcano tamers. I have no idea why I am here and I do not understand the ways of this âchurchâ or the humans that live in itâ She hoped honesty would help make the Den mother feel a bit better.
"You seem like the kind of ghuleh who is always getting into mischief. If you ever need an alibi, just mention my name." -- cardinal-iscariot
âIâll keep that in mind. Thanks Cardinalâ
âAnytime, my child.â
âWho are you anyway? I mean a Cardinal yeah, but like who are you really?â
"Hey Gramps, what have you been up to?" ~ArdorGhoulette
âI would ask that you refrain from calling me âGrampsâ. And what I do is none of your business.â
@ardorghoulette
âOk, fair. None of my business, but Iâm going to call you gramps, at least until you can prove you arenât just some old grumpâ
He glowered at the ghoulette from behind his mask. Damn youths these days, they lacked respect. Wait. Shit. He really was old and grumpy, wasnât he?
âI already have a title, and I expect you to use it. I am not some old grump, I am the old grump, the one and only Alpha, and you better act like it,â he paused to look the stranger over, âand what should I call you- other than an annoying little nuisance, that is?â
âAlright alrightâ she shook her head âalpha grump, or alpha grampsâ she brought her hand to her chin. Thinking deeply. âI wasnât saying you were just some gramps. By the wayâ
âYou are gramps of us fire ghouls. That makes you specialâ here eyes narrowed âum not annoying and you can call me Ardorâ
He let out a sigh; a deep and heavy sigh, laced with a certain exhuastion that could only come with dealing with a fire ghoul with as much sass and attitude he had once used to terrorize the halls of the church. A part of him ought to be proud. The twisted praise was not lost on him, and beneath his mask, his lips twitched,
âSpecial? Is that what you young ones are saying instead of an âannoyanceâ nowadays?â he looked her over, measuring the young ghoulette up, âand what purpose do you serve, Ardor? Other than pestering your elders?â
âwhy you sighing gramps?â she knew it pissed him off but the name was just so fitting. âNo if you were annoying I would say you were annoying, I got no problem saying that.âÂ
She watched him carefully as he took in her form. She wasnât tiny but she was far from large âWhat purpose? Fuck if I knowâ her shoulders raised in a shrug and stayed for a moment as she thought âI was never told that I had a purpose here...â
âWhatâs yours?â
"Hey big bro, your mind still all fucked up?" ~ArdorGhoulette
@ardorghoulette
Ifrit is almost used to every face being unfamiliar at this point, even the ones that are seem to know him well. He gives the tall ghoulette a curious look then shrugs, chuckling lightly.
âYep, still fucked up unfortunately. Maybe one day someone will find a way to fix it, who knows.â He shrugs nonchalantly then eyes her up and down. âSo, whatâs your name? I knew you⌠Before?â After a pause he shifts nervously, rubbing at his balaclava at the back of his head.
âWe, uh⌠Are we actually, um, related?â
âThat sucks, you found the cunt that did it yet?â The ghoulette questioned the other fire ghoul. If he didnât know, she would find out for him. Taking out the person. And move about her day as if nothing ever happened.
âYou knew me in passing, my nameâs Ardorâ
âIâm not actually your sister, but we are related somewhere down the lime, hundreds of thousands of years ago. Ardor smiled wide, summoning a small flame in her palm. Her red painted nails glinting in the light of the fire.
Ifrit breathes out a sigh of relief, glad that at least this wasnât his actual sister. How awkward would that be, to explain how youâve forgotten your own kin. He huffs a quiet laugh when she asks about the cardinal, lifting his right hand to show the grucifix burned into his palm from stabbing the man through the heart with it.
âYeah, I got him. Got âem real good.â Ifrit smirks; itâs one of his fondest new memories, despite the haziness of it. He can at least remember, through the fog of pain and blood loss, snatching the mans necklace and slamming the neck of it through his chest, feeling the bond to him break as he died.
âPleasure to meet you, Ardor,â he purrs, summoning a blue flame in his palm and flicking it over to dance with hers.
âThe pleasure is all mineâ she purred back. She let the flames dance together in her hands. The colors twisting together looked beautiful. âI wouldnât expect you to be one to use blue flames. Pretty interesting. Maybe its the mind thingâ she cut off the flame in her hand before dropping it back to her side.
âHow much do you remember? If I can be so bold as to ask that of youâ
Ifrit chuckles, watching the blond haired ghoulette closely. She was interesting; sassy and lippy, quite different from the other ghouls Ifrit had been reacquainted with.
âIâll be honest, I donât know a damn thing, really. Just what Iâve been told by the clergy, some memories a few people have been kind enough to tell me of.â He looks at his palm thoughtfully, heâd never thought to make a flame before, even thought he had still known deep down he was a fire ghoul. âDonât even remember the colors of my own flames, how sad is that, huh?â
âWho really knows a damn thing in this Church?â She laughed âeveryone here is either lost or looking for a way outâ she watched him closely. Something about him made her want to hug him. It was a feeling she had not had in centuries. âYou know your flames can change over time.â She tried to smile to re assure him. âWhatâs sad is that they took that knowledge from you. Not that you canât remember.â
Ifrit snorts a short laugh, finding that he enjoyed the ghouletteâs company.
âCan I ask you a favor?â He feels awkward asking, but he feels so comfortable around her, finds it so easy to just talk to her, he canât help but ask. âWould you mind⌠telling me more about⌠us? Um, fire ghouls, that is? Show me some of the things we can do?â He doesnât like showing just how broken he really is to someone, but he gets this feeling in his gut he can trust her.
She made him laugh. That was a new reaction for her. Most of the others in the church seemed to hate her. For one reason or another.
âSure. Ask whateverâ Ardor waited for him to finish talking. He knew so little and it just pissed her off more at the assholes that messed with his mind. âWell it depends on what clan you are from. Some of us are champion fighters. Others live to make sure volcanoes donât rip our world to shreds.â She shrugged and looked at him closely âBlue flames and a quiet muscular build. You probably were a fighter. Down in the pits. Its a nasty place but also one of great honour. If you survive that isâ her shoulders raised into a half shrug âwhich you are here and alive so I would think you made it through alright or at least still kicking.â
âWe can do so much but so little. The only thing that we have mastered is fighting. Iâm sure your muscles remember how to do that even if your brain doesnât. There are one or two groups that can use their flames for healing. How they do it is beyond meâ
âFighting, huh,â Ifrit muses, wondering if thatâs why he sometimes felt so restless⌠A fighter turned to a simple errand boy⌠What a fucking waste⌠He shelves that thought quickly, not wanting to get too worked up over it.
âWhat were you, if you donât mind me asking?â Ifrit tilts his head to the side and gives her a cheeky smile, eyes running down her frame in a manner similar to how sheâd looked at him. âDid you tame the volcanoes, or were you wrangling all the ghouls falling at your feet for a chance for your attention? Beautiful thing like you probably had everyone swooning for you,â he purrs, making an attempt at charm.
âIts a fucking waste, someone as strong as you just pulling down books for short sisters and carrying boxes aroundâ her eyes roamed up and down his form. He was quite handsome even for a fighter. Strongly build and rather tall. Very pleasing to look at to say the least.
She smiled as his eyes looked over her form. âYes, taming volcanoesâ she rolled her eyes âno ghoul has fallen at my feet. We work a little differently than that. No one swooning. We are closer to that of monks than anything elseâ she smiled and purred back. He was adorable a bit dorky but overall rather attractive.
âVolcano tamer then? Wow,â he murmurs, curiousity piqued. âIâd love to hear more about it, what you do and everything.â
Ifritâs grin widens, loving that Ardor gets it. Heâs only spoken to her for a few minutes but he feels like heâs known her for forever. His blood sings just being near her, his fire calling out to her own.
âNot even one ghoul falling into the lava as heâs struck by the sight of such a beautiful ghoulette? I find that hard to believe.â Ifrit hums, unable to stop himself from reaching out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear, delicately tracing the shell with the back of his claw.
âYou could tame my volcano, if you get what I mean.â
Wow, really Ifrit? Tame your volcano? Are you still a fucking teenager or something? Satanas, you are an idiot⌠Pray that she doesnât just drop your ass, you moron.
âAll we do is basically in the nameâ she shrugged âno, no one falling into lava. Thatâs pretty hard to do when we keep it all containedâ she smiled and shook her head. Something about him was different. No where near like the others back in her clan and not like any of the ghouls she had met while being on earth. She felt drawn to him but was still so unsure why.
She leaned into his soft touches. The claw on her ear making her purr again. âTame your volcano?â She repeated the shook her head and laughing. âIfrit⌠You are one of a kind you know thatâ Ardor winked at him. âMaybe I willâ
âThatâs good, Iâd hate to have actual competition if there was more than one of me,â Ifrit laughs, finding this feeling of confidence that heâs seemingly found around the fire ghoulette to be⌠comforting, familiar. He canât help but chase after it, despite knowing deep down that this is a bad, bad idea, but⌠heâs so desperate for something that feels like himself, that even the worst of ideas seem like good ones.
Plus⌠being close to her just felt so goddamn nice.
He doesnât ask, just pulls off his mask and balaclava and gives Ardor a seductive smile. He leans forward with intent, giving her plenty of time to push him away or say something. But either she doesnât object or she doesnât know what heâs doing till he tilts her chin up a bit with a finger and presses their lips together.
She smiled. The feeling of him close to her so calming. Something like him just felt like home. It drew her in like a moth to a flame. No matter how bad of an idea it seemed to be she needed to be close to him.
She watched with curious eyes as he took off his mask. Her crimson eyes going wide at his handsome face. She pulled away her mask as well and looked deep into his eyes.
Her hand slipped around his neck as he placed the soft kiss on her lips. Instantly deepening the intimate act. She purred, closing her eyes and wrapping her tail tightly around his leg.
Caramel, spice, something like⌠leather? The taste and smell of her was so complex, intoxicating almost. The call of her inner flame beckoning to his own nearly blindsiding him in a haze to be wrapped around her as close as possible. And eager, fuck, he groans to himself, loving how she responds so quickly to him. He smirks against her lips, parting them to press his tongue inside and tangle with her own, tasting and claiming her. His hands drop down to her hips and pulls her flush against him, one hand sliding back and groping at her ass.
âYouâre beautiful,â he husks when they part for air, breathing heavy and nipping at her neck.
She didnât know why but her body craved him. His warmth his touch his kiss. She needed it. Why she didnât know.
Her hips rolled into his touch as her tongue tangled with his. Eyes shutting tightly as she gripped his shirt and pulled him with her until he was sandwiched between him and the dark colored wall.
âB-beautiful?â She smiled âfirst to ever tell me thatâ Ardor kissed him back feircly, though unpracticed. âWhat else do you want to be first ofâ the fire ghoullete smiled wide. Her tail slithering up his leg and squeezing tightly around his upper thigh.
âWhat, no oneâs ever called you beautiful before? Shame, that, because you are very,â he murmurs, mouthing at her pulse, licking at her skin, âvery beautiful indeed.â His cock throbs in his pants, the feel of her pressed against him making him want to rip her clothes off and take her right then and there. Her tail around his thigh speaks volumes, and he notes just what she asks him.
âFirst to show you how good I can make you feel,â Ifrit purrs, loving the sloppy intensity with which she kisses him, the motions speaking of something primal. He rocks his hips forward, gently rubbing the bulge his cock made in his pants against her hip. âYour room or mine,â he asks, wanting someplace with proper privacy before he starts undressing her, wanting to see the rest of her.
She groans loud as he rubs the bulge straining in his pants against her. The kiss unbroken between them as her tail shifted further up his leg. Silently begging for what she wanted.
"Yours" she panted before taking in a big breath. "I still have a roommate" she admits before crashing her lips back against the hot and wet ones of the other fire ghoul.
"You feel so right" she growled, wrapping a leg around his as she tried to get as close to him as possible. "Why do you feel so right?" Ardor didn't know if he had the answer. She wasn't expecting one even if he did.

âThat sucks, you found the cunt that did it yet?â The ghoulette questioned the other fire ghoul.
"Sure would be a shame if someone burned all of your pretty flowers to the ground" ~ArdorGhoulette
âWhy do you want to burn down all of my flowers?â Nora asked with a sad look on her face âI worked really hard to get them all to bloomâ The Sister looked closely at the Ghoulette, her voice and face ringing no bells in her mind.
âAre you new here? Whatâs your name?â
âI donât know. To see if it makes you cryâ she smiled wickedly.
âKind of new, not really though. Iâve been here. Just been overlooked for so long.â Ardor flicked the sisterâs flowers. Smiling at the bruised petals âyou can call me Ardorâ
âP.. Please stop.. Those are very delicate..â Nora stepped a bit closer to abused flowers, her fingers gently lifting the hurt petals. âIâm sorry Iâve never met you before, but please donât take your anger out on theseâ
âArdor..? Fire Ghoulette then? Are you related to any of the others?â She asked quickly, hoping to move the Ghoulettes attention away from the delicate blooms.
Easy. Push over. Too delicate to be around a church of demons. âNora was it? Let me make something clear. I donât give a damn if these were hard to grow. If they are delicate or if they were a gift of the glorious uncreator himselfâ
Ardor flicked to life a flame above her fingers. Bringing the bright flame close to the flowers and watching the sister beg. âYou are hilariously pathetic you knowâ she smirked before setting the bud ablaze. Smiling at the tears that streamed from the humanâs eyes.
Nora raised a hand as the Ghoulette called on her magic, the flames in her palm were beautiful if they werenât being used for destruction. âA.. Ardor please..â The Sister whimpered as he let the bloom be consumed by the flames. Tears swells in the womanâs eyes. Those werenât just hers. They were gifts for the others.
âWhy! There was no reason!â Nora wiped the tears streaming down her face. âYou are just a bully with nothing better to do? Or are you so upset and angry at yourself that you have to take it out in the ones that you know will do nothing to hurt you!â
Rage boiled in her chest. She had done nothing but fight for the ghouls, for their rights and fair treatment and now this was how she was treated. âIf I was any other Sibling you would be thrown into Silver faster than you could blink!â
âThink about why I donât and then see if it feels right to burn my flowers again!â
âOh you could hurt me all you want sweet cheeks and I would still burn you flowers just to see if you really are that sweet little sister that has so much of my family tied around your cute little fingerâ Flames burned in her hand as she grip the second bloom.
âIâm not upset and Iâm not angryâ Ardor smirked âI think youâre projectingâ she tsked âNot very becoming of a pretty young thing like you now is it?â a sinister toothy grin crept across Ardorâs face. She leaned down closer to the tiny human. She dropped the planter with the burning flower and loving the crashing sound it made. âIt will always feel right to burn your flowersâÂ
The nickname made her cheeks burn. Her eyes narrowed at the fire Ghoulette as she blinked back the tears in her eyes. âP..please leaveâ she asked, her voice small. âI do not wish to have you in my gardens anymoreâ Nora tried to keep her voice steady as she spoke, with varying degrees of success.Â
âI have done nothing to you! I have no one wrapped around my finger!â the small woman bit her tongue, she was angry and perhaps she was projecting, but how calm the Ghoulette remained made her even more upset. âLeaveâ her word was sharp, she didnât know where the sudden burst of confidence came from, but Nora wasnât going to complain.Â
âI will not just stand by while you destroy my things! Either leave or I will make you!â it was an empty threat and Nora hoped she wouldnât be called out on it.Â
Ardor snorted, âYouâll make me leave? how do you plan on doing that?â the threat was comical coming from the dainty human. âI think Iâll see if you can actually make me leaveâ she crossed her arms and waited for the sister to make her move. When the little human froze she smirked.
âDonât make promises you canât keep honeyâ she stood there a bit longer
âWell? Iâm waitingâÂ
"I am just waiting for the day one of us has to put you back in your place" ~ArdorGhoulette
@ardorghoulette
âPut me back in my place? Youâre making me laugh. As if someone who isnât part of the higher clergy could ever put me in my place.â The ghoul huffed, looking at the new person.
âI donât need to be a member of the âhigh clergyâ to out a small thing like you in your place, DripDropâ she smiled wide, messing with this one was going to be fun.
Dew raised an eyebrow at the nickname. He wasnât overly fond with strangers giving him names without even knowing theirs. âDont you think its rude to give me a nickname before even telling me your own?â He looked at the ghoulette, his mood dropping more every second, âAnd if you think my height makes it easier to put me in my place youâre wrong.â
âBe glad its not drippyâ she cackled âIâm Ardor, it is nice to formally meet youâ she stood eye level with dew. Her amber eyes meeting his strange blue ones. âIâm just saying that someone as small as you sure does have a big mouthâ her shoulders raised in a shrug âyou just donât look like you have the muscle to back it all upâ
âOh dont underestimate me. I am stronger than I look and I have no problem demonstrating it on you,â he huffed, his eyes shifting from blue to an orange and back. Controlling his anger got harder the longer he had to talk to the ghoul that ruined all of Noraâs flowers. âAnd if I think about it, I should. You dont deserve me being nice to you.â
Ardor laughed but nodded. She had no intention of starting a real fight with one of her own. âIâm sure you are as talented with a flame as you are a guitarâ she didnât miss his eyes shifting colors. But she didnât understand why he was so upset.
âI have done nothing but poke a bit of fun at you? Why do you want to fight me now?â Boring the quiet sisterâs flowers didnât even register in her mind as a reason for him to be mad at her.
Dewdrop crossed his arms over his chest, her question making him debate her intelligence. Why he wanted to fight her? Wasnât that obvious? âYou ruined Noras flowers. Thatâs reason enough for me. It hurt her and I therefore this is now my matter.â
He eyed the Ghoulette, absolutely not fond of her, his voice took an annoyed tone, âYou mess with her, you mess with me. And I am not kind enough to just let it slide.â The fire ghouls tail snapped behind him, his eyes burning with anger.
She groaned âWhy is everyone so obsessed with some stupid flowers? She grew some once and if she is as good at all that as everyone acts like she is then whatâs the big dealâ Ardor rolled her eyes then crossed her arks to mimic dewâs hostile body language.
âFor so many people to care about what happens to that little sister, she must be pretty uh..â Ardor paused and took a second to search for the word she was looking for âpopularâ she settled. The other fire ghoul was already upset with her for reasons she still didnât quite understand. She didnât need to fuel that anger for insulting another clearly âpopularâ woman.
âBecause those âstupid flowersâ are very important to someone we like.â He huffed, looking at the ghoulette with anger. If it wasnât for the little self-control he had, he would have punched her by now.
âShe is popular. And if you wouldnât have behaved like a brat towards her, you maybe would have been touched by her kindness. She has done nothing but good for our kind. So I expect you to atleast respect her flowers and her.â The fire ghoul snarled, unhappy with Ardor disrespecting one of the only humans that cared for their Kind.
Ardor snorted at dewâs comment. âWhat kind of good? Iâm sure there are other humans you all can fuck that arenât as much of a headacheâ she rolled her eyes, âarenât we not supposed to get attached to these human things? They just die and leave you all upset.âÂ
âRespecting flowers? Do I need to bow and kiss their petals too?â the fire ghoulette scoffed âlast time I checked, we were hellish creatures, that burned the things we didnât like.â she huffed and muttered under her breath âshould be happy I didnât burn her too, little goody two shoesâ
@mintyghoulette
"I do care. But did you care about pain when you stormed in here and slapped me for doing nothing more than voicing my opinion" Ardor took a step closer to mint. "I hurt no one. Yet you stormed in here and slapped me with close to all of your weight behind it.
Her shoulders raised in a shrug "I did feel bad for you and your situation. But what do you expect me to do when you come at me like you did?" She took another step towards the dentist mother. She paused awkwardly before fully embracing her.
"There is no reason to be so upset. Everything will work out. And I know you probably hate me but I'll still do what I can for you. No matter what happens with Ifrit" the fire ghoulette hid her face in Mint's shoulder as she spoke. It was a weakness in her clan to feel how she did. If they knew she would be cast out and not given a second thought.

"You seem like the kind of ghuleh who is always getting into mischief. If you ever need an alibi, just mention my name." -- cardinal-iscariot
"I'll keep that in mind. Thanks Cardinal"
