Hi I just found your blog and your comics have resonated with me so much, I recognize all the words the creature says as words I’ve told myself, and now seeing responses that the person gives have altered my perspective on how I’ve been treating myself, especially lately.

Anyway I have severe social anxiety but I feel it is important that I tell you that the something you make and work on is helping others too, and I thank you for making something. Even if something you make is only for yourself, and not shared with anyone or posted anywhere - thank you for making it. Because it makes the world a little bit lighter and a little less scary knowing that you do.

You can only be kind to them. I’m not going to pretend it’s easy, only insist that it’s necessary. The worse parts of you deserve kindness, they’ve travelled this whole life with you and can’t be left behind.

It’s going to be ok sometimes, it’s going to be better than ok other times, and that’s worth everything else in the end.

It makes me happy, that you are making the effort to be kinder to yourself. Thank you.

Hello, I am on holiday in another country, my mother just had an accident that we aren’t currently sure of the extent though currently isn’t life threatening, though it is potentially life changing.

I apologies for the image quality, but my notebook is all I currently have on me and there are some anxieties I need to get out.
