Ninjago characters as Snakes (irl)
Characters not including Dragon's Rising because I haven't seen it
(In general, my reference photos and inspiration for morphs came from morphmarket)
Wu - Reticulated python (Sunfire)
Garmadon - Reticulated python (Goldenchild Tiger), Tigers tend to be more food enthusiastic, and I think it's the combo of genes that makes them darken with age, this pic is as a baby, but basically it'll be about as dark as the dots on its back
Misako - Reticulated python (Sunfire Superdwarf), same morph as Wu, just grows significantly smaller than a mainland retic
Lloyd - Reticulated python (Goldenchild pied)
Harumi - Burmese python (Granite het albino), not as large as a retic, but similar status
Ronin - African egg eating snake, closest thing i could think of in terms of stealing shit
Nya - Sea krait, they're aquatic, green anaconda was a contendor but Kai is also venomous soooo
Pixal - Royal python (albino pinstripe), just a common pet snake, tried to get purple, but then the closest is blue-coloured snakes (ie. vietnamese rat snakes and indonesian pit vipers)
Dareth - Arabian sand boa, I had to. Look at him.
Kai - Horned viper, they live in deserts, not much else to say
Zane - False water cobra, similar idea to Pixal, i feel if you want a venomous snake but don't want to deal with a venomous snake, get a mildly venomous snake
Cole - Hognose snake (superconda), little chubby and they burrow
Jay - Boomslang, they're just really fast, but not faster than griffin
Ash - Death adder, they're grey, his element is grey. I honestly couldn't think of anything
Bolobo - Emerald tree boa, they're arboreal and green. honestly snakes aren't really into enviornmentalism so going for colour
Chamille - Coral snake, look very similar to milk snakes, very difficult to tell a part, one kills you (coral), the other will nip and probably give itself a heart attack (milk)
Gravis - Chrysopelea, flying snake, not much else to say
Griffin - Black mamba, they're just really fast and athletic so i thought it would fit
Jacob - Sawscaled viper, they're just really loud
Karlof - Black headed python, they burrow and are big. Unfortunately snakes aren't into aeronautical engineering (yet).
Neuro - King cobra (specifically Malaysian), smartest snake species. They can also growl because their trachea is modified and has a flap in the middle, Malaysian has really nice gold stripes
Mr. Pale - White-lipped python, they're very iridescent in the right conditions
Skylor - Spider-tailed horned viper, going on from the spy thing, thought it would be cool
Shade - Boa constrictor (IMG), boas are my favourite snake species, Shade is my favourite character so he's also getting a thematic morph. long story short, as the snake grows with this morph, it keeps getting darker until it's pitch black
Tox - Keelback snake, poisonous and venomous
