Graye approached the door to @gardianforce ’s home, dressed as nicely as Graye’s belly would allow, intending on today being the day of his and Arellan’s date. He had been around the other day and left a note for Gard, letting him know that Graye would be by to pick up Arellan. Graye knocked on the door.

Graye stuffed the bag of coins into the pocket of his coat and then directed his attention to Arellan. “You look quite handsome, Arellan. You clean up quite well.” Graye smiled.

Arellan looks slightly puzzled. “Thank you?”

Graye wasn’t sure on how to respond to the confusion. “So, uh, Arellan…You ready to go?”

Gard looks at him. “Come on. Go.” Gard starts pushing him out of the house. “Go. Go. Have fun.”

Arellan stands outside awkwardly waiting for Graye to lead him.

Graye smiles to try and make Arellan feel less awkward and subtly takes ahold of one of Arellan’s hands. Graye then starts on their trek to the date spot.

After a bit of walking, Graye casually says “I like holding your hand” to Arellan.

Arellan is staring at a water fountain.

“Arellan? What are you- Oh. The water fountain. Want to get closer?”

Arellan nods excitedly.

“Alright.” Graye smiles and navigates to the fountain so Arellan can see it up close.

Arellan stares in awe at the running water and reaches a hand towards it. Once the water touches his hand he is surprised by how cold it is. He never found cold water on Tarkir.

“Do you like the fountain?” Graye had stopped holding Arellan’s hand before Arellan stuck his hand in the foutain and now had that free hand on his belly.

“Yes. It’s cold. There’s so much…” Arellan clearly had a deep interest in this odd source of water.

“Just don’t drink it or try and get into the fountain. You can play with the water, as long as you don’t get all wet, and don’t bother other people. Like this.” Graye sits on the edge of the fountain and lightly splashes Arellan, being careful not to get his suit too wet, since they are on the way to dinner.

Arellan seems startled but then he plunges a hand into the water, causing a larger splash.

“Haha!”

Graye narrowly misses the splash and laughs, a large smile appearing on his face . “Maybe not as big of a splash, Arellan.”

Arellan splashes again a bit lighter, giggling all the while.

Graye continues to laugh, splashing towards Arellan again.

Arellan continues to play in the water and laugh, getting a few odd looks from passers by.

Arellan seems upset at the prospect of leaving but quietly obliges, keeping contact with the water for as long as he can before leaving the fountain behind in favor of Graye.
