Back in September, I got some nasty anons on my other blog freaking out about whether I shipped Elsanna because I said over there that people treat Elsanna shippers in the fandom with a double standard, and harassing me for it.

I initially responded to the anon curtly but civilly on my other blog, then deleted the follow-ups they sent that became more hostile. I could have left it at that, but I am nothing if not petty...

So I commissioned the wonderful @giuliaciulia89 to create this piece, just to say, I ship what I fucking want. If you have a problem with that, fuck off.

Really good old time...

I hope my passion for Frozen amd Elsanna restore again...

When the new films come out, we'll be enlivened in some form, I'm sure. My love for this ship has never left me.

Every time I see someone has deleted all their old Elsanna art or deleted their Elsanna blog, my heart breaks.

In some cases, it's people who are scared of people digging up that they shipped something "bad" in the past and using that against them. In some cases, it's people who still like the ship but don't want to be dragged across the coals for it. In some cases, it's people who are disgusted by the ship now and want to lie about why they shipped it in the first place to demonize us... or want to pretend they never shipped it... or want to act like they've "grown" because they no longer ship it. In some cases, it's folks who have just moved on.

To the friends and mutuals I have seen wipe their blogs clean, I love you. To everyone who feels ashamed they shipped it once before, you shouldn't be. I remember the beauty you created, the happiness I saw in your posts. I love you. To the people who would demonize the ship now and express hostility for anyone who still ships it, you're hypocrites.

I don't know. I still love this ship, I think I always will, and I just... I miss old friends.
