I've been spending the last year reflecting on my relationship with digital spaces as a chronically ill person. This piece is about the covid lockdown forcing me into isolation at a time when I was finally getting the confidence to experience the outside world.

My first attempt at a woodcut! Class prompt was folklore, so I decided to go with the rabbit in the moon :)

I went on a bit of a ✨journey✨ with this one, the second layer didn't want to print evenly no matter how much pressure and ink I used, and I hated it at first but it's grown on me since it's dried.

As much as I struggled, I am so excited to work on more woodcuts in the future

i took a paper making class over the summer and may have gone a bit overboard. assignment was to make ten sheets of ten different kinds of paper and i. made close to double that. i was having so much fun i just zoned out and kept pulling more sheets. im going to use some of these to make a journal and some for printmaking :)

lighting in my studio is kinda ass so i couldnt capture these super well, but the orange and green are almost neon in person, plus most of these have an absurd amount of glitter in them
