Sometimes when 2020 gets me down I remember that Reed "exists" and I feel loads better. An ask you recently answered had me thinking!

So we know that Laurent would hang around the perfumery a lot for "surveillance" and got to know MC. But how well? Will we get to see their history in the VN or will that be Patreon snippet and/or Interactive Fiction? Because until I saw that answer you gave, it just never occurred to me that maybe they were already... kinda dating.
The extent of their relationship pre-pfm is largely up to the player, but they were definitely not dating. Well, like I said before, they knew each other for more than a year before pfm started. Their first meeting took place abt two weeks after Laurentās promotion, so you could say that MC was one of the first ppl in Elazar he ābefriendedā. It was a gradual thing, kinda coincidental, where they started with small-talk and ended up talking about serious stuff. And though Laurent long since found a better surveillance spot, he still kept coming back to the perfume shop just to see MC (he did have an excuse every time since he was, well, working). The first time they officially meet outside MCās work (save for like bumping into each other outside etc) was on Laurentās bday, but the date was coincidental on his part - he doesnāt celebrate his bdays so it slipped his mind. But once he realized it, he took it as a sign and decided to tell MC the truth about his being an agent.
