Blockchain and Trust - Schneier on Security

"Blockchain doesn't eliminate the need to trust human institutions. There will always be a big gap that can't be addressed by technology alone. People still need to be in charge, and there is always a need for governance outside the system."

Now that the hype is beginning to fade, I can see the arguments from people I admire, like Bruce Schneier. I still think there is potential in blockchain systems, but we need to keep looking all sides of the arguments to be able to understand why a system like that works some times but not every time.

It is true. Everytime is more and more difficult to increase quality of the programs produced. Everytime is more common to send programs to the Hall of Shame because of new developers doing some stupid things
