ooc: I'm sorry I got really sick those pas few days, I'll start being active again tomorrow guys :(
Well .. Hello . Â
Hello ! I'm Ari.
Sleepover ||James&Ari
Taking note of Ariâs unamused face, James began fist-pumping. âNow that,â he suddenly stopped fist-pumping, âWas tragic. And he should have known better to count Mississippiley,â he shrugged. âI would probably tan at the beach or something, seeing that I canât swim and all.âÂ
Ari laughed "Seriously though, who over 10 counts Mississippiley ? He totally had it coming" She turned her body towards James, and sat on her legs resting her arm over the back of the couch. "Don't you wish you knew how to swim though ? Hey I think that water magnifies the rays that make you tan too."
Sleepover ||James&Ari
James dropped his jaw in false shock of Ariâs reaction. âI resent that,â he said as he covered his chest the best he could with his arms. âBecause spray tans are a gateway to gelled hair and obnoxious jewelry. Plus theyâre cold and I make a good nightlight,â he shrugged, getting comfortable on the couch.
Ari sat on the couch next to him "Uh oh, don't you dare bring the Jersey Shore to Ohio ! I was thinking more along the line of that friends episode where Ross 'tries' to get a spray tan."
Sleepover ||James&Ari
Laughing, James bowed and replied in the same silly accent as Ari. âThank you, malady.â Tossing the pillows on the couch in any given way, James gave up on trying to find his shirt and used the blanket from before. âAm I glowing with paleness?â He chuckled.
Ari laughed when she replied with an accent. She put a hand in front of her eyes pretending to be blinding " Stop it, it's so bright it's burning my eyes" she said before bringing her hand down and grinning "If you are so self-conscious about it you should go get a spray tan."
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âSo she casually buys pillows in sets of 10?â James asked as he titled his head. âThatâs innovative,â he said to himself as Ari disappeared up the stairs. He usually slept in his boxers at home, but compromised when he slept over at someone elseâs house. Taking off his shirt, he rummaged through his bag trying to find the shirt he packed to sleep in.
"Not innovative, excessive." she said over her shoulder before climbing up the tsairs and going into her room. She threw all the pillows her mother insisted on decorating here bed with on the couch the minute she left for their 4th of July vacation. Grabbing two of them and changing their pillowcases she made her way pack down stairs. "Your pillows sir" she said with a stupid accent , while holding them out.
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âSure thing,â he said as she handed off the DVD.âReally? Shaun of the Dead?â James asked incredulously. âYou can tolerate that, but not this,â he said gesturing wildly to the movie. âParadox,â he gently accused as he placed his movie into in his overnight bag. âSo how about those pillows?âÂ
"Hey, there's enough comedy to hide the horror in that movie. " she said with a frown. "Sure I'll grab a few from my room. My mother is a pillow whore, she puts 10 on every bed and doesn't really care that normal people only use one" Ari rolled her eyes and started making her way upstairs.
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âWhat is that her power?â He joked. âThe couch is fine, but I wasnât really paranoid about your dad until now,â James frowned. Even if he was sleeping downstairs and completely away from his daughter. âI donât wanna to come raging in here thinking Iâm out to likeâŠcorrupt you or anything,â he blushed.
"Nope. which makes it even more creepy." She smiled "Tell me when you want to sleep and I'll fetch some pillows for you." Laughing as he frowned obviously thinking about a rabid father chasing him out she answered "I think the corruption was already done with that awful movie, but yeah, fathers to teenage daughters tend to be over protective." She went to the TV and crouched down, taking the DVD out and putting it back into it's box before handing it back to James "Oh and next time we are watching Shawn of the Dead. I can tolerate that."
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âThat actually happened to me once. âCept it was a table, and our babysitter was the absolute worst,â he frowned at the memory and unconsciously rubbed his nose. âYou can never be too careful,â he shrugged. âWell, it would be rude to invite myself over and then stay the nightâŠâ he began with false contemplation. âSo yes, I am,â he smirked. Â
Ari smiled at his statement "I wish I could let you sleep in Valerie's room so you'd be more comfortable but she hates people using her stuff and she has this creepy ability to find out when people have." she said with a sigh. "Do you mind sleeping on the couch ? If it's too small or anything there's an air mattress that I can bring down. Oh and don't worry about being chased out in the morning by my furious father or anything, my parents won't come back for 2 days, they're on their annual 4th of July trip"
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âMaybe not. My idea of babysitting is letting the kids roam free and doing whatever the hell they wantâ, James shrugged. Watching Ariâs head drop after putting space between the two, he felt the vibe between the two change. âSo do I,â James genuinely agreed, but hesitated on the last question. âI donât know. Donât get any ideas though.â
"If I had let them run around, one of the kids would have ended up running into a wall and bleeding to death. Ugh, blood" she said with a fake gag, thinking back to the movie. "Ideas ? Relax I'm not going to dye your hair red while you sleep James ! Are you staying over by the way ?"she asked, eyeing what seemed to be his overnight bag.
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âYes, seven year olds are very menacing,â James sarcastically said with a nod. He backed and put some space between the two. There was no need to make her crane her neck just to look at him. âBut then you realize how most tall people are clumsy. Personally, I think itâs the hair that adds to the pasty thing.â
"Trust me, once you do enough baby sitting, you'll genuinely think that" she said, and lowered her head when James stepped back. For some weird reason it felt a bit insulting. shaking the weird thoughts out of her head she continued "It does make a contrast, sure, but I like it. Do you really think you'd look better with red hair ?" she asked, unconsciously playing with a strand of her own hair.

And I was struggling to get in Left waiting outside your door I was sure You'd gimme more
Sleepover ||James&Ari
James couldnât help but to laugh and gave Ari an unimpressed look. âDid you scare Tim when you were seven, because if you did, thatâs not saying much.â Scoffing at her comment on his height, he walked over to Ari standing over her. âAm I really that menacing? Iâm sure the fact that Iâm pasty like Elmerâs glue distracts from that.â
"Hey, I was seven and very very angry !"she exclaimed while grinning. She looked up at James when he stood in front of her, require her to tilt her chin up to look at him in the eyes. "Well it is impressive when someone is really taller than you. And please, if anybody is pasty here, it's me" she scoffed.
Sleepover ||James&Ari
âI do, actually,â James smiled. âBut really itâs because youâre an easy target,â he shrugged. Coming up from under the blanket, James stood up from the couch and turned off the television. âMaybe try to be a bit more menacing.â
Ari dropped the blanket on  the couch and got up, stretching her arms on the side "Look at me , how the hell am I supposed to look menacing ? Unless I work really hard on getting the same Helena Bohnam Carter vibe she had during the movie, the only thing I was ever able to scare was Tim ." She said, letting her arms fall back by her side "You can probably pull menacing off because you're so freakishly tall"
Sleepover ||James&Ari
James began laughing, but quickly cringed when Ari latched onto his arm. âIâll let you know when itâs over after the feeling in my arm comes back.â Watching the credits roll, he turned his attention back to a hidden Ari and poked his head under her blanket. âBoo,â he dryly exclaimed.
Ari probably jumped a foot high when she saw James peek his head under the blanket. It was thin so just enough light went through so she could recognize him but she wasn't expecting this at all " Why are you creeping up on me after watching this ? Do you enjoy scaring me" She exclaimed, trying to keep a smile off her face.
Sleepover ||James&Ari
As he listened to Ariâs horror story about her cousin, his eyes widened and he frowned. âThat little punk,â he exclaimed. âEither way, youâre choking. Cinnamon who be worse. Because you know, itâs cinnamon,â he frowned, making a disgusted face. âApricot juice, but this is the last scene.â
Ari nodded "You're right, definitely cinnamon. God imagine dying with such a rotten taste in your mouth." she quickly caught the edge of the blanket a threw it over her head, her hand grabbing James arm . "Tell me when I can look again okay ?" she said, her voice muffled by the blanket.
