Why Ben Copper is a Gryffindor

I may have talked about this before but idc

Simply, the reason Ben is a Gryffindor is because he’s brave. He’s afraid of many things, but he’s brave. Those two things are different.

Whenever he is asked to help, he barely (if ever) hesitates.

MC wants him to go on a dangerous adventure with them? He’ll go. He won’t try and find a way around it, or try to find another plan so he won’t be in danger. He’ll just go with it.

He’s even said it himself that him being afraid of a lot of things won’t stop him from helping his friends.

In short, Ben has a lot of fears but they’re not his top priority and he’s always willing to face them if it means helping others.

Because being brave doesn’t mean you don’t have fears, it means willing to look past them when you have to. And Ben does that.
