     Her dark eyes moved to look at the shoulder of the other as soon as there was enough distance between them not wanting the other female to counter her attack. She couldn’t help herself from being so jumpy in this surroundings. Everything was new and different here. The girl pressed her lips together awkwardly as her eyes slowly moved to the ground as she moved to lean against the wall not sure exactly how to respond to the questions. “Not exactly. Pretty sure they would be pissed.” Mainly Cobalt would be pissed. “I said I’m sorry.” 

          Ariadne looked deep into the shocked eyes of the tribute and attempted to give her the most sincere smile possible.  “ Don’t worry, child. This will stay between you and I, no need to worry. ”  It was clear to her that the girl was more than just uncomfortable to be participating in the games. Judging by her jumpiness, Ariadne would say she even seemed terrified. However, as nice as the District 2 escort made herself appear to be, she was anything but. Ariadne would be sure to engrave this incident in her memory and be sure to tell her own tributes to use the girl’s apparent weaknesses in the games.

The entire circumstances they were in caused Zoey to have anxiety. She couldn’t keep herself in one room. All she wanted to do was figure out where exactly she was being held and what was around them. Feeling her heartbeat pitter patter quicker just exiting her room. Her dark hazelnut eyes scanned every detail of their new area. Her fingertips touching the walls at every step she took. Freezing when she heard another step behind her she reacted without hesitation. Turning she pushed the other against the wall, twisting their arm behind them as she kept them there for a moment before even realizing what she had just done. “Oh fuck-” She let out before letting them completely go and take a step back. “Sorry. Instinct.” 

          Shooting pain shot up Ariadne’s arm as she was forcefully shoved up against the wall. Everything had happened so fast she couldn’t catch a glance at who was grabbing her. It wasn’t until the hand let her go that she heard an apology and she realized it was just another one of the tributes that was behind her sudden confinement. Ariadne rubbed the soreness on her shoulder and slowly turned around, taking a peak at the young tribute.  “ My God, child. Why on earth are you so jumpy ? ” The apologetic demeanor of the girl forced Ariadne to soften her attitude and she brought a tight lipped, almost fake, smile to her face.  “ Have you never been taught manners ? I can’t imagine your team would be too pleased if they saw what just happened. ”
