Feeling sad & lonely.

im in love with my best friend & I know they don’t feel the same way. they’ve been honest with their feelings but I feel heartbroken since they started dating.

I need to figure out how to regulate my emotions. idk, maybe i thought we will be together in the end, well together in the end- more than friends, but this isn’t the truth. it’s a bitter truth to swallow and it cracks me to tears each time i think about it.

time may be the only thing that heals this heartbreak. I seeing them together makes me realize that we are just best friends, not lovers.

why does my heart hurt? why does this change make me sad? why do I feel alone?

maybe my fantasy as lovers has kept me optimist of our future…. I need to talk to them…. thank you interwebs for listen to my tears. maybe I’ll find someone to share this love with 💜
