CANCER: We may have a minor issue.
ARIES: Yes?
TEXT || CLAUDYLAN
DYLAN: I meant what KIND of food, silly. Are we getting Chinese? Thai?
DYLAN: Are you looking for somebody cute and clueless?
CLAUDIA: It's up to you! That's what I mean!
CLAUDIA: More like cute and dangerous. Know anyone like that?
TEXT || CLAUDYLAN
DYLAN: Is that even a question?
DYLAN: Get me out of trouble, obviously.
CLAUDIA: No, I just like hearing you say it.
CLAUDIA: I'll always get you out of trouble, pretty.
mssg ↪ CAP + ARI
CAPRICORN: Nonsense.
CAPRICORN: I'm afraid I've hit my quote for ego-stroking today. Message me tomorrow and I'll happily fulfil your request.
CAPRICORN: I don't regret the somewhat sexual connotations to my previous text.
CLAUDIA: Not nonsense! The coloring would be all off. I guess the only place I can pull off red is on my lips. And nails.
CLAUDIA: I'll happily message you for the rest of my life if it means I get compliments!!!
CLAUDIA: Oh no? (:

AQUARIUS: wait what
AQUARIUS: I mean, easily the prettiest drill sergeant I've ever seen
AQUARIUS: but what?
AQUARIUS: also it should be known that I could TOTALLY run a 10 mile so I'm not, like, worried about that
AQUARIUS: I just didn't know I'd... have to?
CLAUDIA: The FBI has Quantico, the Zodiac has me.
CLAUDIA: I'm waiting (:
“But are any of us as pretty as those actors except me? No.” Joaquin had accquired an interest in television since losing his memory. In fact he had learned to love and hate many different things compared to his “past life.” While many in his past life could agree that he had changed dramatically, he was still quite the unpredictable wildfire he once was. Joaquin was still pretty violent; but in the best way, you could say. At least he was murdering criminals?
“Yeah, well I’m addicted to the nicotine, so…” His hands cupped his lighter to the cigarette that balanced between his lips. He looked over at Claudia who had followed him outdoors. “What are you up to? Do anything fun lately?”
If there was anyone who rivaled Claudia in arrogance, she'd wager it was probably Joaquin. Smirking, she reclined back on the seat of the couch, crossing her legs and arms. "I'll plead the fifth," was her only reply, her eyes moving to the television screen. Joaquin was a complete mystery to her, and Claudia wanted to pick his brain. "Why do you like this show?" SHe asked out of the blue, hoping that would give her some insight into his mind.
"Oh, nothing really," Claudia waved her hand haphazardly, shrugging. "I went to the shooting range today. We should get a group together and go paintballing. Or for a hike."

CAPRICORN: I reckon so.
CAPRICORN: I feel like I've stroked your ego enough for today, perhaps I should take back my previous answer and tell you that strawberry blonde would look dreadful.
CAPRICORN: Aesthetics. Always.
ARIES: Really? I think I'd look hideous.
ARIES: My ego can always use more stroking.
“Hm. Probably pretty high, actually. We’re hot, we’re of above average intelligence, and no one’s around to see us get abducted. We’d make the perfect specimens for brain harvesting. The only drawback might be that we’d be a little too perfect, eh?” Elias joked, looking over at Claudia and raising a teasing eyebrow. “They’d get to everyone else and be disappointed because we set such a high standard.” Chuckling, he moved to lay down with his head resting on Claudia’s lap. His eyes were closed when he spoke again, “Maybe we could even get them in on our operation. Persuade them to harvest our targets’ brains first.”
"There are no arguments here," Claudia was in complete agreement, and frankly, everyone else should have been, too. "It's not our fault that we set the bar so high." As he rested his head on her lap, she smiled softly, running her fingers through his hair as a comforting gesture. Elias was one of the few she trusted wholeheartedly. While it was strange for a leader to be wary of her team members, she still had a great deal of getting to know everyone to do before she could be wholly confident in them as killers. "I think that we make a fantastic team, period." Her words were bold, as was her voice. "And if we were abducted by aliens, we could basically convince them to do anything. Like not kill us."
A burst of laughter spilled from her lips, as her eyes crinkled with humor. “Yes, I have noticed because I’m one of them. Things just jump scaring me out of the blue, horror marathons on TV, haunted houses. I can’t do anything supernatural.” Exaggerating a shudder, she resumed a soft smile on her face as she listened to Claudia highlight her day. Although it was nothing but casual chit chat, Hana couldn’t help but think it rather intimate. Hearing about her day, no matter how mundane, always made Hana feel closer to the other girl, and staying updated with each other’s lives was highly important to her. “Loads of baking, of course,” she said, her eyes shining as she remembered the cupcakes that were downstairs. “I’ve tried out a new recipe for today. Hopefully it turns out nicely, because it took me most of the day to mix.” She said it as if she was annoyed, though they both knew it was a dream for her – a whole day in the kitchen, peace and quiet as she lightly hummed to herself while mixing bowls and bowls of batter. “Brushing up on your shooting skills for anything in particular?” Hana asked, raising her brows.
>small>"We'll have to fix that," There was mischief in her eyes as she spoke, and while she would never force anyone to do something they didn't want to when it came to being scared, she would highly encourage it. Especially in Hana's case. Claudia worried about her more than she'd ever admit, especially not to her dearest friend. "Baking!" Claudia's face immediately lit up at the prospect. She'd gone for a long run that morning, she deserved a treat, right? "That must be an absolute dream. I bet it tastes unbelievable, give yourself some more credit, please." Claudia teased her back, nudging her slightly. "Oh, nothing that I know of yet," A haphazard shrug was issued at her comment, and she tucked a strand of dark hair behind her ear. "Something will definitely come up with all of the assholes in this town, though."

ARIES: Rise and shine, Aquarius.
ARIES: Guess who your drill sergeant is for the week?
ARIES: Meet me outside in twenty, we're starting out with a ten mile run.

DYLAN: It is. But it's silly to say so because of how much of an understatement it is.
DYLAN: I do, but it's incredibly difficult to free them. I've been studying Woodland Park Zoo and I think I might have found a way.
CLAUDIA: You think I'm pretty, don't you (:
CLAUDIA: What am I going to do when you get caught?

DYLAN: Take out what?? I need DETAILS.
CLAUDIA: Take out. Defined as: food cooked at a restaurant that's delicious and is delivered by someone usually cute and clueless.
There really wasn’t anyone in the Zodiac ring that Zac felt truly one hundred percent uncomfortable around. Sure, he chose to spend his time with the less strong personalities purely out of his own social comfort, but that didn’t mean he had any dislike towards. Claudia was no exception to the rule. Sure, he felt slightly intimidated by her while half envying her more outgoing personality, but that didn’t mean he dreaded interacting with her in the slightest. Even in his slightly frazzled, sleep deprived state he could appreciate her authority to some level. Although, if he was being honest, it was only something he could tolerate in small doses.
“Anything Goes?” He offered while wincing from the sudden flood of light into the room, the self doubt evident in his speech. Zac desperately tried to keep his interests broad so he could, technically, join in with most conversations. Of course, most of the time he opted to avoid the conversations at all costs because he wasn’t entirely sure he remembered certain facts correctly, but he could at least say he tried. Rubbing his eyes softly, Zac opened them and immediately jumped just ever so slightly after realising that Claudia was moving into the room.
“Um… No. I mean. It’s not just my room. I can’t technically stop you,” he mumbled with a dismissive gesture. As if to seem more enthusiastic about having company, he pulled himself right into his side of the sofa to allow Claudia a choice of where to sit. In doing so, he left Claudia’s question hanging in the air. With a few awkward blinks, he finally registered what she was saying and glanced down at his headphones with a nervous laugh.
“Just meditative shit. Mind calming. Confidence boosting. Elias suggested it. I kind of drown it out when I’m working so…” He shrugged again, “no evidence of it working just yet.” Clearing his throat, Zac massaged his bottom lip between his teeth for a few seconds before properly looking at Claudia. “Struggling to sleep?”
"How'd you know that?" Her curiosity was most definitely piqued. Out of all people, she wouldn't expect Zac to get a reference to a musical. Truthfully, Claudia wasn't the sort of girl who made references to musicals, unless they were Hamilton. "You're right. I can never say no to a good tap show. There weren't many opportunities to dance when I was in high school. I sort of took every moment I got." It wasn't so much a secret, but rather something she'd want to keep from the group-- namely Joaquin and Elijah, but Zac could know it. She wasn't sure why she so blindly trusted him-- perhaps it was because he didn't frequently speak.
"It may not be, but you've claimed it for now," She pointed out, carefully taking the seat beside him as she crossed her legs. "Ah, I see." Elias was good for relaxing, that was certain. She preferred to actually spend time with him to get the same effect, but nevertheless, she was glad that Zac had found some method of peace. "You should give it another go. Practice makes perfect, or something. Relaxation is apaprently a practiced skill. Although, a disembodied voice in my ear doesn't sound particularly relaxing." Laughng a little, she ran a hand through her dark hair, shaking out a tangle.
At his inquiry, she shook her head no. "No, I'm just not tired. Yet." Claudia frequently had trouble sleeping. She was far too restless. Her desire to move was about as frequent as she needed to breathe. Laying around for hours upon hours did not appeal to her in the slightest. "I could ask you the same question, though."
Elijah rolled his eyes at the girl, lifting her up and placing her next to him. “An hour isn’t all day.” He informed her, stretching his legs out and yawning. He was getting a bit restless, but he wouldn’t tell her that. The last thing he needed was Claudia thinking she had convinced him to do anything. “Anyways, it’s not dark. There’s a lamp.” He pointed to the light next to the couch, trying to keep a straight face as to stop from laughing.
"You sitting down for an hour is like an entire day," Claudia pointed out, quirking an eyebrow at him. "I'm amazed that you manage to fall asleep for more than twenty minutes at a time." Her teasing was only good-natured, as she had nothing but the utmost respect for Elijah and his contributions to the team. There hadn't been much time for them to get to know each other, but Claudia was determined to know every single member of the team. "A lamp. How charming." She drawled, rolling her eyes at him.
mssg ↪ CAP + ARI
CAPRICORN: I doubt that will be possible. Slinking through shadows wouldn't be half as easy with a mane of strawberry blonde.
CAPRICORN: Although saying that, I'm sure you'd still look just as attractive donning any colour.
ARIES: Do you think I can pull off strawberry blonde?
ARIES: It's hard to make me look bad, that's true.
ARIES: Stealth or aesthetics?
Light entered her eyes as she saw the familiar figure of Claudia in her bedroom doorway. Softly padding towards the other girl, Hana replied, “Well you did. You should make yourself known next time. Sneaking around isn’t always good.” She was mostly joking, knowing that she had most likely just been too oblivious, too wrapped up in her own cocoon, to notice Claudia had come back. And who was she kidding, in their line of work, sneaking around was always good. Leaning against the door jam, an easy smile on her face, Hana asked, “What have you been up to today? I feel like I haven’t seen you so long!” It had really just been this morning, but a whole day at home baking made her miss, crave, the company of others, especially Claudia.
Of all the people in that house, Hana was one of, if not the most precious to her. Hana's happiness in all aspects of life was high on Claudia's list of priorities, even if she sometimes had a hard time showing it. "But it's so fun!" Claudia protested, her red lips pursed in a gentle pout. "Especially around Halloween. Have you noticed that most people are more on edge around that time of year?" With a devious grin on her lips, Claudia stepped fully into the hallway and moved closer to Hana. Since it was just the two of them, there was no need for formalities. "Oh, nothing too exciting. I went to the shooting range today, and I just got out of the shower, as I'm sure you could tell. What about you? The house smells divine, so I can only imagine what you got yourself into."

DYLAN: Calling you pretty is like calling the universe big.
DYLAN: That being said, birds and people are very different and I appreciate both equally, which means that my bird friends must be visited and released.
CLAUDIA: The universe is big.
CLAUDIA: Do you feel the same around zoos?
