I love in the audio drama (and probably the book as well, I just remember the audio drama best) that when Shen Qiao becomes his younger self, Yan Wushi had recently left the mountain, but he promptly comes back at the call. I love the swift rustle of his robes and how he says very firmly but almost urgently, "where is A-Qiao?"
But when he realizes there's nothing to worry about, he dismisses any concerns and simply takes the little Shen Qiao off and teases him quite literally to tears! But it's so cute in the novel that when little Shen Qiao does start crying, Yan Wushi, perhaps for the first time, feels regret xD
It's also sweet that he never told little Shen Qiao that Qi Fengge had passed away and simply went to make a little candy figure of his shizun :) Also it's really funny that Shen Qiao was like "but my shizun said Yan Wushi is someone young, and you look old!" and in the audio drama Yan Wushi just gives a long sigh skdkdkd.
