It was the first day of winter break, and you had promised your hybrids to fun and excitement once the busy semester was over. Without fail, Wooyoung and San were up at the crack of dawn intent on holding you to your promise.
Wooyoung was at your side while San was practically on top of you, shaking your arm.
“Mm,” you groaned from your slumber, slowly realizing their presence.
“Come on Y/N. You said we were going to have fun today!” San whined, shaking you more.
“Five more minutes.” You turned your face, snuggling into Wooyoung. He purred in response, wrapping his tail around you and letting you rest against him.
“No fair! You know Woo can’t resist cuddles.” San continued his whining, his ears twitching in response.
“Okay, okay,” you chuckled pulling away from the cat hybrid to face the pouting fox. “I’m up now Sannie.” You ruffled his hair, his black ears flattening as he pushed his head towards you.
You quickly got ready and headed out to the car, the boys bouncing alongside you despite not knowing where they were headed. It didn’t matter though, because to them any day out with you was special.
It wasn’t long before you arrived at the amusement park, gasps coming from the hybrids in the backseat. You chuckled, happy with the surprise on their faces. They had never been to one before and based on their whispers and giggles you knew they were excited.
You had just finished parking the car and the boys were already out, opening your door for you. They let you lock the car before they each took one of your arms and dragged you towards the front gates.
“Oh my gosh, they have cotton candy. Y/N they have cotton candy!” San turned around to face you, his brown eyes wide.
“Can we get some?” Wooyoung popped his head out from behind San, both giving you hopeful looks. Even though neither of them was a dog hybrid, they had the puppy dog look down to a T.
You nodded, allowing them again to pull you towards the small candy stand.
“Two please,” you asked the guy behind the counter, trading him money for the two sticks of cotton candy. You let the boys choose theirs, watching as they stuffed some blue and pink fluff into their mouths.
“Is it good?” you asked, already knowing the answer.
“Mhm.” Both hybrids responded, Wooyoung continuing to eat the sugar and San flashing you a large smile.

“We can go see the little penguins next and then the…wow,” San paused, halting his steps and looking up.
You had already seen five of the six performance shows, rode the merry-go-round twice and just left the safari ride, purchasing two matching reindeer headbands for the boys from the gift shop. Right next to the gift shop was one of the largest roller coasters in the park, and naturally, it had caught the fox hybrid’s attention.
“I want to ride it.” He smiled, his eyes sparkling. Wooyoung, on the other hand, looked apprehensive.
“Do you want to ride it, Woo?” You asked, “I’ll stay with you if you don’t want to.”
“N-no I just haven’t been on a roller coaster before.” His white ears drooped as he glanced up at the ride.
“It’ll be fun Woo, c’mon.” San happily tugged on the younger hybrid’s sleeve.
“We will be right there with you.” You added, waiting for his response.
“Okay.”
San pulled both of you into the line, jumping up and down in excitement. You had ridden this ride a few times over the years, so you were explaining to Wooyoung what to expect. As you moved through the line, more of the roller coaster track came into view, showing all the loops and turns. You finally got the front, boarding the small cart and sitting between the boys.
“San are you excited-” You turned to see his wide eyes, his black ears flat against his head. “What’s wrong Sannie?”
“I didn’t know the ride goes upside down and there are three loops.” His voice was quiet as he looked down at his feet. The ride started and the cart began to climb up the track. San watched the ground get farther beneath you, closing his eyes tightly and gripping the ride restraints.
“Hey, it’ll be okay.” You reached for one his hands, squeezing it lightly. You checked to make sure Wooyoung was okay, holding his hand in your other one as well. The ride reached the top of the hill, dropping suddenly and propelling your cart along the track.
“AHH!” Wooyoung screamed, laughing as the wind blew his hair in all different directions. “Open your eyes San!”
San shook his head, squeezing your hand tighter. You squeezed back, silently letting him know that it was okay. He opened one of his eyes, turning his head to look at Wooyoung, who was yelling at the top of his lungs. The ground blurred beneath you as your cart zoomed by, completing the first loop.
Soon enough the ride was over and you got off, the boys high-fiving each other.
“That was so fun!” Wooyoung laughed, his white hair still messed up.
“Yeah! Let’s go again!” San turned to you, tugging you back into the line.
