Studies from Pursuit of Jade - picked a few fave screenshots and did a color study, an environment/composition study and then threw in a Changyu doodle for the hell of it.
Been completely spellbound by this cdrama lately!! Darn near every frame could easily hold its own as a painting, and i love how the director moves the camera/actors through space. might honestly try doing some storyboard studies down the line too, tho at this rate ill never finish the drama >-<
also this drama is such a love letter to color... every scene has a really rich color scheme, they play around with the contrasts of red-blue SO much, using that wintery snow landscape to its fullest. these screenshots are from episode 11, which especially had a blue-yellow color scheme which was delightful as well ToT <3 <3
