As a quick intro, I'm Tibs, a creator from France who's been playing this game for 24 years! I create no CC Sims and lots, and I'm also a modder 😊 I'm also released a big save file with more than 400 Sims with a lot of lore ✨

Mod Updates - 05/14

Hello !

After checking all of my mods, it seems like no update is required for anything, so if you are using my mods, this is fine 🐕🎩 (no flames here).

🎭 Grand Ball outfit fix -> The issue of Sims not using their formal outfit if no dress code was specified is solved, but the mod can still be used when you want to force Sims to wear masks for the Grand Ball, as the option still don't work.

🧩 Improved Social Compatibility and 🧲 Improved Turn-On & Turn-Offs -> For their next update, I will include the new event trait, as it wasn't included by EA of course.

There are some projects I have on the side I can continue to work on during the next months, as I finished training program to work for social and solidarity economy, and finding a job in this field will take time (so I'm unemployed with a lot of time !).

I don't know if that stuff is relevant or interesting for people, don't hesitate to comment on this post if some idea seem interesting to you :

🚪Unrestricted doors unlock and lock -> I modified to interactions to remove the constraints, as for some getaways, having the option to lock and unlock doors for one or multiple Sims while I'm there, and also temporary claim rooms for one of multiple Sims i'm not playing was making things run better.

🏔️ Revamped getaway activities -> I explained this issue, but as Small Businesses, Getaways and Custom Venues selected activities work by pushing a list of interactions to Sims, without the logic you would observe in regular community lots (depending on their mood, personality, etc.). As those new venue allow to tie a buff to those activities, I started testing stuff and it seems to run better this way, but it would require a lot of work.

🧇 Fill in buffet table as an activity -> Asking Sims to cook and serve meals on getaways is a complete mess, with everyone starting to cook and blocking all the conterspaces. One solution I found was creating interactions that empty then fill the buffet table with enough food (breakfast or normal meal) and activities to make Sims use them autonomously. It works well, and I might also use them for my Multi-functional lots, as I have a motel where that would be very useful !

🛍️ Better sales tables -> There would be a way to improve and add more diversity to what Sims sell on sales table on the new Community Market lot type (and Marketplace from Eco Lifestyle), and using appropriate Sims to sell the products. Again it's tedious work, but I already listed some ideas related to that.

🧘 Diversity autonomy on community lots -> We now have so many skill building or entertainment objects, and older lot types don't take advantage of that as Sims don't use those items in their autonomy.

🩱 No nudity lot trait -> I already worked on this one, as for community pools for example, I wanted my sims to shower in their bathing suit.

On another note, more freetime means I'm building and creating Sims for both Ondarion and Gibbi Point. As I haven't seen many people using my save file (and I understand, it's quite complicated and big). I don't know if I will update it, but one thing for sure, I still have a lot of work to do, but I can show some screenshots !

The first three pictures represent the three Dynasties I created for my version of Ondarion (and other random Sims), I haven't pictured all the ancestors, and the last picture represent the Sims I created for Gibbi Point (I also made over the necessary NPCs).

For Ondarion, I have yet to start on the three big palaces I need to create for my families, I'm not the most comfortable with enormous builds, so I need to find the right inspirations for that!

I really love Gibbi Point, I have few lots left there, and I had a lot of fun creating camps for children and for teens ! Here again, the huge lots are a struggle.

🪟 Backsplashes fixes: already shared before, but I added the backsplashes from Loestruck and Enchanted by nature

To finish, if you have a little bit of time don't hesitate and go to upvote this issue about blurry pictures, it's been there since August and will affect any player who likes to take photos or make custom paintings in their games, it ruins their quality and it's non reversible. Many might have not noticed it I think 😥

Hi !

You might have noticed that I haven't updated my mods for the new pack (they are fine with the last patch, I just didn't include features or specific additions for the pack).

The news we've got of the buyout in the last days really put a stop to my motivation to create stuff for this game.

In all conscience, I do not feel able to continue creating today. I am currently in transition in my own professional life, moving towards working in the social and solidarity economy. This change, which is not the easiest, is something I am doing to align myself with my values. It is a process that I had already begun by adjusting my consumption habits, trying to stay as informed as possible, and avoiding supporting bad entities or worsening the climate crisis (for example, I have not taken a plane in the last 5 years).

Of course, I'm not perfect, and in many cases, it's such a tangled mess that it's easy not to notice things. That's why I try my best to educate myself and adjust as I go along. I don't judge people who don't make these choices; it's a personal matter. The most important thing is to be informed and able to make these decisions with full knowledge of the facts.

But in this case, it's pretty simple for me. Even if this acquisition doesn't take effect right away, and even if I'd be surprised if they changed anything in terms of representation and diversity in The Sims (maybe some Gen IA integration, yuck), just knowing that the content I share could promote this game or encourage people to buy content is enough for me to decide that I don't want to continue.

It's also made easier in my case by the fact that I don't really enjoy playing it anymore, and I haven't really invested any money in it for a long time. I can understand and appreciate the reservations many people may have about giving up The Sims. It remains a creative outlet and a way to escape from a daily life that isn't exactly joyful. I want to say, at the very least, try not to spend any more money on it (and again, anybody is free to do as they want 🏴‍☠️).

I can't say yet whether I'll continue to do basic maintenance on my existing mods (I feel a sense of duty to do so), but in any case, there won't be any new content. I no longer plan to post or continue to check my Sims-related accounts. I apologize in advance if I do not respond to your questions or feedback (I might check only for updates, and maybe plan for someone to take over my mods).

I've been playing this game for 25 years, and even though in some ways it's not easy, I don't have any particular regrets at this moment, except for all the wonderful people I've met because of it!

Mod Updates - 09/27

Hi everyone! I spent a lot of time checking my mods and preparing for the next pack. Hopefully, nothing was broken, but as we always see it with EPs, a lot of filters, tests and other stuff are added into the tunings. I had to update a lot of mods to make them ready for the new pack.

09/18 Patch and Updates

Hi everyone !

Just a quick note, I wasn't able to test my mods with the latest patch, and I won't be able to look into that until next-weekend. Sorry for that 😅

As most of the time with a new EP, the main updates needed will be related to filters and to adding new recipes, but I also know that some of my mods related to clubs/business activities will require updates.

Because of that, chances are that I will publish updates the weekend after to make sure everything works with the new pack, and do it all at once.

The current state of the Sims 4

Hi everyone.

First, sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker so redacting a long post might include mistakes 🫣

I think the last statement from the Sims 4 community managers was the last straw for me.

I won't expand on save corruptions issues. I know that this one huge issue with multiples causes and ways to manifest, so that's not an easy thing to solve. Knowing that they are at least working on it is good, but they already talked about that in the past, and we have no visibility on the resources invested in that part.

In the meantime, they continue to release packs upon packs and pile up more and more stuff on this game. We don't have to buy them, but still, it means they have resources to invest on working on new features, and that the complexity added to have more and more packs, features and combinations of that, means that their ability to test, find bugs and solve them is stretched thinner and thinner as time goes by.

Talking about QA, they explicitly said here that they are now unable to test their packs correctly with all the existing combinations of packs and devices existing, and that they rely on feedback from players to correct those issues. Even if that doesn't come as a surprise for me as a regular user of the Bug Report forums, they explicitly said that they expect players who paid their packs full-price to be the ones testing and finding issues. Instead of investing the proper resources to do it on their side.

Getting half-baked functionalities and less and less original ideas in packs is one thing, and that's subjective (some recent packs were good in my opinion, even if a little bit disappointing when you see how things work in reality - hello Businesses and Hobbies !). But being expected to face issues and report them when you play a new expansion, it's an early access, smaller game studios with less resources make you pay less for that, and it's explicitly said.

Having worked on QA and managed teams doing QA in context where the time and the resources are too little, I know that's a recipe for disaster. You can have a product that work on the surface, but in the back, it's grasping at straws, and any new feature you add is an additional risk of things breaking. The issue is not only about QA, it's about strategic decisions in terms or resources EA invests in QA.

Of course, all this work behind the scenes is not profitable compared to releasing new content in the short term. But in the long run, it can lead to more and more anger from the customers, a loss of confidence in the product and more and more work to be done to ensure the product is viable at a surface level for casual players.

We can see how it already affects the game now : for each new patch, it's like 20 issues solved, and 30 new issues happening. And they are weirder and weirder. For exemple, at the moment, sims in situation outfits come with a random hat. Looking at the scripts and the tuning myself, I wasn't able to understand what cause that, and what was changed. It's more and more complex.

It's like your own body, where multiple organs are connected and most of them are needed to make you live, that's a system. The game is a system, with multiple interconnected stuff that makes it function. If you make the system more and more complex and it's not robust initially, you have more and more risks to make it fail at some point.

I reported multiple issues in the Bug Report forums. One of my pet peeve is that we have no visibility on the process, we don't know how what we post here is reported to people solving the issues, how it's prioritized, and what's the deadline. I mean, I always take time to investigate an issue, look at the tunings and the scripts, but even when you provide all the infos on a silver platter and identify the root cause, like this one, it's not solved. It's there since B&H release.

I would rather them take a time to aknowledge all of that, and take a step back. Focus the effort on solving the existing issues for a while and not release new content. I know that's not the same teams that work on solving issues or creating features or content, but for exemple in the meantime, teams in charge of CAS content of build content could focus on updating base game content to make it up to current standards, add items (like the Spa Day refresh - we need the simple bed versions of all those double beds from last packs and more content for younger Sims in CAS), update existing worlds of adding new free worlds to represent other parts of the planet, and so on.

There is plenty of stuff to do in every aspect to improve the experience, especially if they plan on keeping the Sims 4 alive. I don't need new duplicate features (I don't need my Sim to learn Herbalism, Apothecary, and Potion Making as a Spellcaster that basically do the same thing) or having 5 new crop tops like for each pack. I want a game that is stable, fun to play, and knowing that if I encounter an issue and report it, it will be taken into account. That doesn't seem too much to ask from a company like EA that has enough resources and money to do it.

I stopped buying packs a long time ago, and I would love to see more and more people boycotting new packs, at least for a while. I feel like that's the only way to express the disappointment and be heard (and I guess the reason of this statement as the uproar is rising and a new roadmap is supposed to be released).

I hope more and more people will talk about it, and make this message be heard.

In the meantime, I will only play this game to test and update my mods when needed. Thanks for reading my rambling 🫣

Mod Updates - 08/20

As observed by other modders, something changed with the way the game handles some scripts. After reviewing my mods, only one of them needed an emergency update. Note that I'm still planning to test all my other mods this weekend, but everything seems to run just fine 🤗

🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQIA+ Trait for Clubs & Small Businesses filters

An update was needed for the script, not downloading the new version will prevent your from loading lots.

🤹 Less Club Gatherings

No update was needed, but I have something new for this one ! I was bothered by the fact that in some specific lots, club gatherings would occur, and that it wouldn't make sense for the way I set up my save (for exemple, random clubs from outside the region visiting bars in Strangerville or in Mt. Komorebi, breaking the immersion).

I created an easy fix: a new Lot Challenge called No Club Gatherings, that could be used on any community lot and completely block the ability for club gatherings spawning there. The only drawback at the moment is that you can't start your own gatherings on lots using this Lot Challenge.

I tried to make some gatherings possible by scripting (only allowing gatherings for clubs that use a specific lot for their gathering venue) when this Lot Challenge is used, but I wasn't able to make it work at the moment. But stay tuned, I might at some point !

Mod Updates - 07/28

One small fix, an updated mod to add new recipes and a brand new mod. Even if I'm not really playing, I couldn't resist fulfilling a request and fixing something that bothered me.

🚷 No Townie Generation and Relaxed Filters

There was an issue with the filter regarding Plant Sims appearing in Innisgreen, it was more complex than I thought, but hopefully, I managed to fix that. The game will try to primarily use unplayed sims with the Plant Lover trait (if there are none, it can also favor Sims who like gardening).

On that note, as the game doesn't create NPCs anymore, I added new Sims to my gallery to fill-in those roles. You can find them under my EA ID Down-In-Simsland. Note that some of those NPCs are already in every save-file but hidden, you will need to use the MC Command Center to unhide them and delete them.

🧶 More Knits

‪Gooochy on Bluesky requested me to add the Pride flags to the list of items that can be knitted. I could not refuse this request 🌈.

But in order to make it, I had to find a solution to an issue I had where I couldn't add items that couldn't fit into a Sim inventory. As I managed to do that, I added some other cute recipes. You can see all the new items pictured below:

🌿 Plant Sims use the Enchanted by Nature Hairstyle

A new mod this time! Instead of the base game green fauxhawk, Plant Sims (both the ones appearing in Innisgreen and Sims eating the Forbidden Fruit) will use the Enchanted by Nature leafy hairstyle. Sims with a low water need will see their hair turn grayish.

That was a lot, but all the following mods were updated for the latest patches and pack ! Sorry for the wait, I have a lot to focus on at the moment so it was hard finding the time to do it.

I mostly fixed injectors not working, added the new NPCs in filters, some loot for all the recipes and many little other things. I only did small additions to the ingredient lists of the Functional Registers and to the possible crafts on the woodworking table (both with handiness and fabrication skill) but I have no plan at the moment to do more as I'm not playing the game 😅

Mod Update - 05/29

All my mods seems to be fine with the new patch, only a small update was required for one of them.

Usual intro about my current situation: I finally started my training program to work for social and solidarity economy, but for the next year, I will live with very limited resources (but that’s for the good cause!). If you like my mods and can afford it, don’t hesitate to make a donation here, it could go a long way 🤗

Pour me présenter rapidement, je m'appelle Tibs, je suis un créateur français qui joue à ce jeu depuis 25 ans ! Je crée des Sims et de terrains sans contenu personnalisé, et je suis également créateur de mods 😊 J'ai également publié un gros fichier de sauvegarde contenant plus de 400 Sims avec un univers riche et une multitude d'histoires ✨

Une sauvegarde incluant plus de 400 Sims, dont 250 joués, environ 120 terrains et une multitude d'histoires !

Après tout ce temps, je suis enfin en mesure de partager la première version de ma sauvegarde ! 🎉 Cette sauvegarde est le résultat d'années de jeu sur les Sims 4, car certains des Sims que vous y voyez ont été créés pour la première fois il y a 10 ans (et certains d'entre eux me suivent depuis les Sims 1 !). Tout a commencé avec deux mondes, Henford-On-Bagley et Tartosa et 50 Sims, mais tout ça a ensuite bien grandit.

Prenez le temps de bien lire ce post, même si c'est un peu long, il contient toutes les informations pour profiter au mieux de la sauvegarde 🤗

🍵 Cette sauvegarde est le résultat d'années de travail, donc si vous l'appréciez, n'hésitez pas à faire un petit don ici, même un petit geste ça veut dire beaucoup !

Mondes et terrains

Afin de garder la sauvegarde raisonnable en termes de taille, j'ai dû me concentrer sur un nombre limité de mondes. Dans ces mondes, vous trouverez des terrains construits par moi (et quelques constructions basées sur des constructions originales de @simsontherope, fortement ou légèrement éditées) et les mondes en dehors des terrains sont personnalisés en utilisant le mod TOOL.

Mondes entièrement édités : Henford-On-Bagley, Tartosa, Del Sol Valley, Sulani, Brindleton Bay, Nordheaven, Copperdale, Forgotten Hollow, Granite Falls, Selvadorada

Mondes partiellement édités : Britechester (Gibbs Hills), StrangerVille (StrangerVille Plaza), San Myshuno (Marché des épices), Ciudad Enamorada (Nuevo Corazon), Oasis Springs (Bedrock Strait), Mt. Komorebi (Yukimatsu)

Les terrains de carrière de Au Travail sont également inclus, ainsi que d'autres terrains aléatoires dans des mondes non listés ici. Mon but était de pouvoir profiter de la plupart des fonctionnalités du pack. Tout a été testé et devrait être fonctionnel.

Sims

Une des choses que je préfère, c'est créer des personnages, c'est pourquoi j'ai beaucoup de Sims vivant dans cette sauvegarde, tous créés par moi. Aucun des prémades originaux n'est ici, à l'exception de quelques citadins nécessaires (que j'ai édités bien sûr).

Vous remarquerez peut-être que certains mondes comprennent beaucoup de Sims (le record est Del Sol Valley avec 19 foyers joués) et d'autres non, et comprennent plus de terrains communautaires. Cela vient de la façon dont j'ai commencé à travailler sur cette sauvegarde : je n'ai rempli que quelques mondes au départ, puis je les ai étendus.

Tous les Sims possèdent des tenues (3 tenues de tous les jours, 2 pour le temps chaud, 1 pour les autres catégories et une tenue de travail personnalisée), des traits de caractère supplémentaires, des compétences, des carrières, des préférences, des styles de vie et tout ce que vous pouvez personnaliser.

Histoires

La partie la plus excitante pour moi est la multitude d'histoires que j'ai créée dans cette sauvegarde. Vous pourrez découvrir toutes les histoires de ces Sims de bien des façons !

Chaque foyer est accompagné d'une description, de photos personnalisées dans leurs maisons pour certains d'entre eux, et même les livres dans leurs bibliothèques sont personnalisés.

Chaque Sim a de nombreuses relations (avec des dynamiques familiales et amoureuses, des satisfactions amoureuses, des sentiments), et des étapes de vie pour raconter leur histoire.

J'ai hâte que vous exploriez tout cela et leurs dynamiques !

Pré-requis

J’utilise l’ensemble des packs et des objets de précommande sortis, à date de mai 2025. Pour les objets des événements, au cas-où vous n’ayez pas tout débloquer, ces mod de Lunar pourront aider : ici et ici 😁

J'ai aussi utilisé sur deux terrains les lampes débloquées si vous possédez des packs spécifiques des Sims 3, si besoin, vous pouvez les trouver ici (Alma Mater Reward and Your Name In Lights Reward). Merci @diemilchschnitte !

Mods recommandés

Aucun mod n'est obligatoire pour découvrir la sauvegarde, mais j'ai quelques mods recommandés afin d'en profiter pleinement.

Mes mods :

Globalement, la sauvegarde a été conçue pour être utilisée avec tous mes mods. Mais certains sont plus importants que d'autres si vous voulez profiter au maximum de la sauvegarde (mais encore une fois, rien d'obligatoire).

Terrains multifonctions (🪅 Traits de terrain multifonction, 🛒 Caisses fonctionnelles, 🗝️ Pièces à louer) : je me sers des trois mods de cette page pour ajouter des fonctionnalités à mes terrains, en particulier les locations résidentielles. Si vous ne prenez pas le mod “Pièces à louer” certaines portes dans des terrains communautaires risquent d’être verrouillées (principalement des chambres d’hôtel). Vous pouvez juste replacer les portes en mode achat pour les débloquer.

🧲 Amélioration des Préférences en amour / Tue-l'amour : je me suis servi de ce mod pour définir ces paramètres, si vous ne l’avez pas, les Sims risquent juste d’avoir quelques préférences bizarres sur les couleurs de tenues des autres Sims.

👔 Pas de changement de tenue en cas de promotion : j’ai passé du temps à définir les tenues de travail de tous les Sims, ça serait dommage d’avoir une tenue moche par défaut si vous n’utilisez pas ce mod ! Les autres mods de cette page sont aussi pratiques pour limiter les désagréments et réguler les visiteurs des terrains.

🚷 Pas de génération de PNJ et filtres plus relax : La sauvegarde comprend tous les PNJ et citadins nécessaires. Si vous utilisez ce mod, il empêchera complètement la génération de nouveaux Sims (il y a déjà plus qu'assez de Sims dans cette sauvegarde !).

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Interagir dans des espaces confinés : Mes terrains sont en général assez resserrés et rempli d'objets, ce mod facilite vraiment les interactions entre Sims.

Autres créateurs :

More Selectable Icons de Zerbu : je m’en sers pour les icônes de clubs, mais comme le mod peut faire lagguer le jeu, et que je m’en sers juste pour les clubs, si jamais, vous pouvez télécharger ici une version limitée qui n’en garde qu’une petite sélection que pour les clubs (et si vous avez un mod pour ajouter des icônes de petit commerce, c’est compatible du coup)

Milestones Expanded de Lumpinou : utile si vous voulez avoir une vue plus complète des étapes de vies de mes Sims, vous risquez juste de perdre quelques informations si vous ne l’utilisez pas

TOOL de TwistedMexi : il sera utile uniquement car il inclut un correctif qui permet aux objets placés dans le monde de ne pas être supprimés lorsque vous chargez une location résidentielle. 

MCCC de Deaderpool ou tout autre mod qui permet d’éviter le culling des Sims, car il y en a beaucoup dans ma save et le jeu risquerait de les retirer.

Mods pour l’apparence :

Remplacement d’yeux : Si vous n’en avez pas, j’utilise ceux de mon frère, il sont top !

Sunblind : Permet de rendre les lumières des différents mondes bien plus jolies.

Out of the dark : Corrige la lumière trop bleue dans l’obscurité

Mods spécifiques à la sauvegarde :

Open World : autre mod très facultatif, surtout si vous n’avez pas un PC très puissant, mais comme j’ai ajouté dans le monde à certains endroits des stands supplémentaires, des bars ou d’autres bêtises, il permet de rendre les mondes plus vivants. La encore pas de risque si vous ne l’enlevez pas sur une autre save, vous risquez juste d’avoir des PNJ qui apparaissent sans trop rien à faire.

World Sorter : ce mod permet juste de trier les mondes dans l’écran de sélection pour faire apparaître en premier les mondes que j’ai modifié.

A save file including more than 400 Sims, including 250 played ones, around 120 lots and plenty of lore! 

After all this time, I’m finally able to share the first version of my save! 🎉 This save is the result of years of playing the Sims 4, as some of the Sims you are seeing there were first created 10 years ago (and some of them have followed me since the Sims 1!). It all started with two worlds, Henford-On-Bagley and Tartosa and 50 Sims (as those worlds weren’t being built by my brother Rope), but it was then expanded to way more than that.

Please take the time to read all this post, as it gives some important informations on how to enjoy this save the best way 🤗

Worlds and Lots

In order to keep the save reasonable in terms of size, I had to focus on a limited number of worlds. In those worlds, you will find lots built by me (and some builds based on original builds from @simsontherope, heavily or lightly edited) and the worlds outside the lots are customized using the TOOL mod.

Fully edited worlds: Henford-On-Bagley, Tartosa, Del Sol Valley, Sulani, Brindleton Bay, Nordheaven, Copperdale, Forgotten Hollow, Granite Falls, Selvadorada

Partially edited worlds: Britechester (Gibbs Hills), StrangerVille (StrangerVille Plaza), San Myshuno (Spice Market), Ciudad Enamorada (Nuevo Corazon), Oasis Springs (Bedrock Strait), Mt. Komorebi (Yukimatsu)

GTW career lots are also included, as well as some other random lots in worlds not listed here. My goal was to be able to enjoy most of the pack's functionalities. Everything was playtested, and should be functional.

Sims

One of my favorite things is creating characters, therefore I have a lot of Sims living in this save, all created by me. None of the original premades are here, except some necessary townies (that I made over of course). 

You might notice that some worlds include a lot of Sims (the record is Del Sol Valley with 19 played households) and some others don’t, and include more community lots. It comes from the way I started working on this save where I filled in only a few worlds at the start, but then expanded it. 

All the Sims come with outfits (3 Everyday, 2 Hot Weather, 1 for the other categories, and a customized work outfit), additional traits, skills, careers, preferences, lifestyles and anything you can customize.

Lore

The most exciting part for me is the lore I created in the save file. You will be able to discover all the stories of those Sims in many ways!

Each household comes with a description, custom photos on their house for some of them, and even the books in their bookcases are customized. 

Each Sim has many relationships (with family and romance dynamics, romantic satisfaction, sentiments), and milestones to tell their stories.

I can’t wait for you to explore all of that and their dynamics!

Requirements

I'm using all the packs (EP, GP, SP and Kits) and pre-order items that have been released up to May 2025. For event items, in case you haven't unlocked everything, these Lunar mods may help: here & here 😁

I also used the Plumbob lamps unlocked by owning Sims 3 packs in two builds, you can grab them here if needed (Alma Mater Reward and Your Name In Lights Reward). Thanks @diemilchschnitte !

Recommended mods

No mods are mandatory to discover the save, but I do have some recommended mods in order to enjoy the save to its fullest.

My mods:

Overall, the whole save has been built and designed to be used with all my mods. But some are more important than others if you want to get the most out of the save (but again, nothing compulsory).

Multipurpose lots (🪅 Multi-Purpose Lot Traits, 🛒 Functional Registers, 🗝️ Rent a Room): I'm using the three mods on this page to add functionality to my lots, particularly residential rentals. If you don't take the ‘’Rent a Room‘’ mod, some doors in community plots may be locked (mainly hotel rooms). You can just put the doors back in buy mode to unlock them.

🧲 Improved Turn-On & Turn-Offs: I used this mod to set these turn-on and turn-offs, if you don't have it, the Sims might just have some weird preferences on other Sims' outfit colours.

👔 No Outfit Change When Promoted: I've spent some time defining the work outfits for all the Sims, it would be a shame to have an ugly outfit by default if you don't use this mod! The other mods on this page are also useful for limiting inconvenience and regulating visitors on lots.

🚷 No Townie Generation and Relaxed Filters: The save includes all the necessary NPCs and Townies if you use this one, it will prevent the generation of new Sims completely (there are already more than enough Sims in this save!)

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Interact in Tight Spaces: As my lots are cluttered and are in general small, it makes Sims interacting in them way better.

Other creators:

More Selectable Icons - Zerbu: I'm using it for club icons, but as the mod can make the game lag, and I'm only using it for clubs, you can download here a limited version, which only keeps a small selection for clubs (and if you have a mod to add small business icons, it's compatible).

Milestones Expanded - Lumpinou: Useful if you want a more complete view of my Sims' milestones, you might just lose some information if you don't use it.

TOOL - TwistedMexi: It's only useful because it includes a fix that ensures items placed in the world are not deleted when you load a residential rental. 

MCCC - Deaderpool or any other mod that prevents Sims from culling, because there are a lot of them in my save, and the game might remove them.

Visual mods:

Eye replacement : If you don’t have ones, those ones are great

Sunblind : Make the outdoor lightning way better

Out of the dark : Fixes the blue light in dark spaces

Mods for the save:

Those are some mods that I created specifically for this save file.

Open World: another very optional mod, especially if you don't have a very powerful PC, but as I've added extra stalls, bars and other stuff to certain parts of the worlds, it makes the worlds more lively. Once again, there's no risk if you don't remove it on another save, you'll just get NPCs appearing without much to do.

World Sorter: this mod just lets you sort the worlds in the selection screen so that the worlds I've modified appear first.

Just a quick one I already posted on Bluesky and won't include in my mod list (as it won't need updates), it's a fix for the Kitchen Clutter backsplash (just changed the shader used by the mesh, it won't mark it as CC).

Mod Updates - 04/13 & 04/14

Hi everyone! To celebrate the fact that I finished my save file (a first version, that I have now to test heavily), I'm publishing a new game changing mod to remove completely randomly generated townies, and updated mods.

And today, as I tried to finish some mods, I'm publishing even more mods! As I had a lot of mods in the Townies & Outfits and the Random Small Mods pages, I created a separate page called Better Community Lots (and here in French) related to mods improving the experience on those lots, including small Businesses. Some other mods where moved there, and were updated for Plumbuddy users to redirect to the right page (you don't need to re-download them)

🆕 New mods:

🚷 No Townie Generation and Relaxed Filters: this mods completely removes townie generation and allow more flexibility for the game to choose which Sims can be used to fill-in a specific role, but require some set-up to work correctly (in this case, not working just means that no Sims will spawn, nothing game breaking). Make sure to read the instructions.

To celebrate that, I updated a bunch of townies and NPCs under my EA-ID Down-In-Simsland!

Added a small update of this mod today (04/15) as it was causing a little issue with baristas when using my Brewed Delights lot trait. It's now fixed!

🪑 Eat and Drink Sitting

One of the thing that annoys me the most on community lots is that Sims ordering at the bar or at the coffee counter start to drink still standing up, and don’t use the multiple tables you surely placed all around on your lot. This mod encourages them to sit to eat and drink.

🪩 Bar, Nightclub & Lounges Visitors

One of the things that is not really realistic for me in the game is that Sims arrive alone at bars, nightclubs or lounges. In real life, I would go there with people I know. With this mod, visitors on those lots arrive with a friend or two, and favor interacting with them instead of other people.

🍽️ Dishes Auto Clean-Up

This mod adds a new lot trait under Lot Challenges called Self-Cleaning Dishes. When this trait is added to a lot, Sims will make dishes vanish when they are done, like in regular community lots.

Note that this lot trait is now included in the 🪅 Multi-Purpose Lot Traits mod as it was overriding the same stuff, so you don't need it if you already have this mod and update it.

🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQIA+ FIlter for clubs and small businesses

This mods adds a new hidden trait, called LGBTQIA+, that is automatically added to Sims under certain conditions. I couldn’t cover all the cases where it should apply (more detail on the post itself), so you can manually add it with the cheat "traits.equip_trait DISL_trait_GenderOptions_LGBTQIA". The main interest of this trait is that it can be used for filtering in Clubs and Small Businesses.

🔄️ Updated mods:

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Interact in Tight Spaces: Added fixes for some objects footprint, and most important, to all the computers footprints, in order to remove the issue where your Sims need to sit first to use a computer is the desk is full of clutter!

🛎️ Club & Businesses Extended Interactions: Some small additions for the Acting, Play on Playground Equipement and Play with Toys activities.

⚠️ Known Issues:

🎲 Multifunctional Objects - Game Tables: I don't know how widespread is this issue, but I have an animation exception randomly happening when Sims try to join a card game on a game table, even without mods installed. If you also face this issue, don't hesitate to post on that bug report for them to take a look at it.

As my mod made Sims play cards anywhere, it made this bug more likely to happen, that's why I deactivated the autonomy on a last update. But it seems that autonomy is messed up for business customers that will use interactions regardless of restrictions, even on places where it's not intended! I would recommend not using that mod until that issue is solved.
