hi, i'm prepping your all-in-one page for use on one of my sideblogs (url 'aureliawisenri' on /multi-test), and i seem to be running into an issue with the masonry for the tag blocks. i've been fiddling with it it for hours trying to figure out why it's stacking on itself, but i'm not really good enough at jquery to figure out what's amiss. i don't *think* it's anything i've done to it, bc when i went back and checked your preview for it, i discovered that it's doing the same thing :x

i’m not sure why it does it either i’ve also fiddled around with it a lot but for some reason the fix is just clicking on one of the filters then clicking back to all categories. i’m not sure Why it does that honestly i’m sure a better coder out there would know i just mainly do coding as a hobby and am not super literate in it fajdfadf i’m very sorry about that! but yeah it works you just have to click on one of the filters then back to categories and it’ll work fine until you reload the page again. it doesn’t do this with all of my themes that use filters either so i’m honestly not sure but at this point the theme is old enough that i’ve sort of given up on figuring that one out so i totally understand if you’d like to use someone else’s theme that doesn’t have that issue

Hi, First of all your theme are amazing, i was wondering if there were a way to use HTML to add a list or table in the biography box of your Character/Network Page 01, (not sure if my question is clear)? Thanks

thank you! to make a list w html you use

for unordered lists and 

for ordered lists 

so the first would look like this

list item 1

list item 2

etc.

and the second would look like this

list item 1

list item 2

etc.

if you mean anything more fancy then i cannot help w that unfortunately since that falls under the realm of customization and i don’t really do that, i’m sorry. 

as for tables i don’t really use html tables, but here’s a page explaining them and different tags for them.

hello! first of all thank you for all the amazing themes you make, you're very talented! i just have some questions regarding your infinity theme, i'm not 100% sure what to do with the blogroll? as in i don't know how to add people, which may be because i've never used something similar to it before so i was hoping you could help me out. thank you for your time, and for your themes again! :)

thank you ! but you don’t need to add anything to the blogroll :) it only works on main blogs, not sideblogs, so you may run into an issue there, but it’ll automatically load your following list. a blogroll just basically shows all of the blogs that you follow. you can turn that feature off in the theme options though if you’d rather not show all the people that you follow <3

Hi there! First off i just wanted to say thank you so much for posting all these beautiful themes! I'm using your chara page and I love it so much!! Second off, i think the honeybee dropbox link you were using might have gotten deleted recently bc i noticed all the symbols disappeared. I dug around tho and when u replace it with the github link it works just the same! // solrainha. github. io/ honeybee/ honeybee. css (spaces so tumblr doesnt eat this)

that’s strange because i replaced all the links to that font in any code that used it the other day so it should’ve been fixed unless you downloaded the theme before i did that and didn’t send the ask in until a couple days later. i haven’t gone through and updated previews yet, but the codes themselves should all be up to date! thank you for letting me know though :)

don't have to publish this if you don't want to, i came to look for an answer to a small question i had but i managed to find it so i just wanted to say thank you for your beautiful work! i am right now working on a character page using your lovely code that lets you filter characters, it's exactly what i was looking for before i even knew it myself! so again, big thank you from me! :D

hi! i was just wondering, for your character page, is it possible to have something only show up when a filter other than "all" is selected? i wanted to code a simple header info for only some of the characters, but because of the way the code is written the header will always show up when the page is opened because it defaults to showing all elements. thank you so much!

i’m not sure i know what you mean? if you mean like... a large element at the top of the page that would only show up when you click on a filter, then i’m not sure if that’s possible? it may be with some more coding but tbh it’d be a lot more coding than i’d be willing to offer as a customization and it’s smth you’d have to mess around with on your own. i hope that doesnt sound harsh fasdfjasdf a lot of theme makers have similar stipulations. i imagine it would entail hiding some elements on different clicks and messing with the script and i wouldn’t honestly know where to begin with that but there MIGHT be a way? not one that i would know off hand though so thats why i say i couldn’t tell ya. if you mean you just want like. certain categories of characters to have a certain element on their box, you’d have to add that in ! you could make a new div class like “catheader” and then physically add it in on every character box you want to have it on. again that’s a bit more customization than i do for people but you’d just have to know how to create/design those elements and how to put them into the box code.

you can change the {PinnedPostLabel} to whatever you want, and despite what the description says it doesn’t HAVE to go in the post footer. mine looks like this for example:

basic coloring (no psds here, it just gives you a basic idea for making colors pop and look nice. you can look up how to use psds, but i prefer making my own for every gif as it’s much more personal, gratifying, and creative. there’s nothing wrong with using psds as long as you don’t claim them as your own, it’s just not my personal thing)

Hi! So I have a friend (@papergirlpapertown) who recently used your “character one” for a page for her oc’s - I wanna do that for mine but I’m new to useing codes, would it be a bother it I asked for a step by step tutorial?

it depends on how detailed you’d want it to be! i can tell you how to set up a custom page in general and answer any specific questions but i don’t know that i’d have time to go through a step by step explanation of the code itself... however, the code IS pretty in depth in explanation, i have tons of notes on the inside of it to help guide people along that might not know a lot about coding! 

so basically: i can help by telling you where to put the code/how to set up a page theme and the code has plenty of instructions but if you DO get stuck somewhere i can answer those specific questions!

under the cut is a detailed tutorial on how to add a page theme if you need that :)

but to set up a tumblr page, basically you go to tumblr.com/customize/yoururl and then you’ll see this (with your theme/info of course):

use the scrollbar on that sidebar to go here waaay at the bottom: 

click “add a page” and you’ll see this:

click “standard layout” and change it to “custom layout”

here you need to add the url. i could make mine something like:

you can also click “show a link to this page” if you want the page link to show up automatically on your theme along with your ask/likes/following/etc links on your blog.

next go to whatever page code you’re looking for (in your case, this one). next you’re gonna click the “raw” button:

hit ctrl + a on windows or cmd + a on mac to select all the coding like this:

then hit ctrl + c on windows or cmd + c on mac OR simply right click and copy.

go back to your tumblr page you’ve made and set your cursor inside the blank gray space underneath the url box. hit ctrl + v on windows or cmd + v on mac OR just right click and paste:

the customize window can be kinda slow so it might take a minute for the preview to load but if you’re nervous you can hit save and check the page on your blog (so it’ll be yoururl.tumblr.com/yourpageurl).

then just follow all the instructions in the code. they will all look like a lighter gray and have arrow symbols around them like this:

the coding instructions should be helpful but if you get stuck you can ask me! this works for any page theme, though some code makers make their instructions more or less detailed. i try to keep mine pretty helpful without getting too redundant so if you run into issues, again, let me know :)

sorry i haven’t been very active here wrt answering questions guys :( i’ve been super busy with school/work and also frankly i’ve got a huge case of executive dysfunction when it comes to coding lately. i love you all though !!

tried to find this in your already answered questions but couldn't. im using the first networks page you made and any time i try adding more than two bio box thingies, the new ones gets completely misplaced, very far to the right and down a little. I haven't changed anything in the code and I've tried using both the already existing first box and the template in the code, both of which gives me this issue. I use chrome, if it matters. Do you have any inkling as to what I might be doing wrong?
