Spooktober Announcements & GIVEAWAY
As the end of September draws near, we're entering one of the favorite times of the year for It Lives stans:
SPOOKTOBER!!
And boy do we have some plans for you...
Sadly, It Lives Within won't be finished in time for Halloween this year, as much as we wanted to release it around this time. However, that doesn't mean we don't have little treats up our sleeves 🤫Keep your eyes peeled October 1st for another exciting reveal we've prepared just for you...
And don't think we'll forget about Halloween, either. I promise, you're gonna like what we have to share on October 31 😈
IT LIVES PROJECT GIVEAWAY
Now, to celebrate Halloween and the It Lives series in general, and to show our appreciation for our followers' support and patience, the It Lives Project team is doing something special! We're doing a giveaway for a customized, fully programmed It Lives scene of your choice! How it works:
1) After we select the winners, the winners will be able to create or request an original fan-made It Lives scene which we will then program as a visual novel! The final product will look like the teaser trailer we released a few months ago. You may choose one It Lives MC and up to two additional characters to be featured in the scene. It can be an LI, two LIs, Elliot and an LI, whoever you want (it doesn't have to be romantic). We're open to writing pretty much anything from fluff to smut, but just send us your prompt and if it's something none of us feel comfortable with we'll let you know. From there, you explain to us what you want the scene to be.
Example: You could say "I want a hurt/comfort scene featuring ILITW MC and Andy Kang" or you could go more specific, like "I want a workout scene with Amalia and ILW MC where Amalia teaches MC the basics of jiu jitsu." Or, you could send us a fanfic you've already written and would like to see adapted to as a visual novel, and we'll do that too.
2) From there, we'll write or adapt the script, and then using our visual novel engine, we'll program the scene for you, just like how we're doing it with ILW! The programming will allow you to choose your MC's looks and will include branching choices.
3) Once the game is finished, we'll upload it to itch.io, send you a private link, and you'll be free to enjoy a fully programmed, 100% playable diamond-esque It Lives scene of your choosing!
4) Just keep in mind, please limit the characters to 1-2 beyond the MC, and there is a word count limit of 5,000 (not including coding commands).

1) Reblog this post and in a comment, share something positive about It Lives. Why you love it, what it means to you, who your favorite characters are, etc.
2) We'll go through and pick TWO winners at random, which we will then announce on our blog on October 15.
3) You CAN reblog this multiple times for multiple considerations! Max of two reblogs per user may be counted a day.
4) Reblogs end on midnight PST on October 15.
5) If you're chosen, we'll PM you with the details and wait for your further instructions on what to do. Then we'll get to work on writing and programming your fully customized It Lives scene!

Notes: We will only be able to do scenes featuring It Lives characters. The reason is because it takes quite a bit of work to prepare sprites and ingest them into our VN software, and we don't have sprites prepared and ready to go from other books. Thanks for understanding!
