to be forgiven for not being able to do much recently. i was supposed to make starters yesterday and today, but I've been sick for two days. Those plots were written before so I took a little bit of my time to put them on my blog before going to bed. goodnight.

Snow waves x mira;ariel

There was never a complete win for Mira when it was time for her to shed into her scaled skin and take a dip. Summer? Warm enough to go into the ocean, but obviously Korea wasn’t a huge place, and EVERYONE wanted to go to the beaches in the summer. There’s ever hardly a place for her to hide so she could do what she had to. Winter? No one was around, she had all the free space she wanted, but it was cold as ever. In her mermaid skin she was fine and it still felt tropical to her and her kind, but coming and going into the water in just a bikini and coming out wet also meant she carried a cold through most of winter. Of course some times she was able to just pop into the bathtub in her apartment and lay in there for hours. But it was a piece of work, having to drain the tub and quickly fill the tub with hot water again after it got cold.

At the moment, she decided to brave the coldness and bitterness of winter. She rode her bike down the block to the beach, sighing as she hopped off and walked along the cold sand. She waited till she got to where the water came up and made she to do quick away with her clothes. She felt a shiver go over her body and she made her way into the cold water. She had to say, she was slightly used to it by now, but it still made her feel like a snowman. Once she was waist deep in the water she closed her eyes, the energy from the chilly waves connected to her. She let her lower half bond, her teal colored tail quickly replaced her legs. And now the icy waters felt good on her itching skin, soothing it gently.

{ ❀ } ———— She’d be able to stay at home and relax, they said, she would have been warm and cuddling with her cat, but that wasn’t the case. After spending a somewhat calm morning, the pink-haired wasn’t surprised to hear the phone ringing. She responded to the call only to be told to get to the school : a ballet’s teacher was missing and she was the only qualified one to replace them. Another day off thrown to the trash as she obviously accepted without hesitation. That was how she spent her day, teaching young children how to dance the ballet. That wasn’t something she disliked so, that wasn’t a problem, but after the third lessons, let’s say Ariel was getting tired and only wanted to come back home to her comfortable bed and her adorable cat.

The school was only a few blocks away from her apartment’s building, but, surprisingly, the female chose to instead visit a coffee shop she liked, ordering a black coffee, before heading to this one place she loved to go, especially in the winter since there was no people to bother her, the beach. Even though the weather was a bit cold, she didn’t mind it at all, after all she was well covered by her jacket but also a scarf, earmuffs and a pair of gloves. Plus, she now had the warmth of her hot coffee warming the inside of her hands. After reaching for the beach, Ariel approached the shore, though, something unusual seemed to be happening as she caught the sight of a woman—— kind of undressing. Gulping, and obviously confused by the woman’s behaviour, the pink-haired approached the scene only to witness something she never thought she’d ever see.

Before her eyes, the woman entered the cold water until it reached for her waist, and then it happened. Ariel couldn’t believe her eyes as the stranger’s half body morphed in the one of those mystic’s creature she used to read about when being a child, but right now, the once so called mystic creature was before her eyes, and Ariel was captivated by it. Frozen in place, her darks irises widening, she never noticed her trembling hands giving up on her cup of coffee, and she dropped it to the ground. Since the cup was still filled with hot drink, when it hit the ground, a loud sound was heard while slowly a brown-ish liquid began flooding out of it.
