Only way to properly sculpt the top of Bram's hairline is to put that 150 pound sculpture on the workshop floor and set the tools on the garbage can.
Oh, the glamour......
And yes, I CAN lift this by myself! Damn right I'm in that gym every day!

It's getting colder out, so time to grow the beard back!
I've posted this before, but who says you can't get into your subjects, right?
I do my best Bram for all of you. ;)

Progress on the Bram Stoker bust! Getting it there!!! Once the hair and beard go on, it’s like the rug in “The Big Lebowski”…..it’ll really tie the room together! ;)
My good friend Guillermo del Toro was kind enouigh to include several pieces of my work at his current LACMA exhibit “At Home With Monsters”, including the life size Poe and Lovecraft busts.
I owe him a lot and you will not find a nicer man on the planet.

In Memoriam to Edgar Allan Poe, who died on this day, October 7th, in 1849.
Raise a glass to the sullen master, won’t you?

Many of you have asked for detailed pictures of my long sold out Anton LaVey statuette, so here you go. I’m very, very proud of this piece and I hope you like it, too. I have one artist’s proof left on Etsy. It’s not cheap, but it’s there if you want it. Hail Satan! Bry https://www.etsy.com/listing/469265004/anton-szandor-lavey-statuette?ref=shop_home_active_3
Anyone else have this problem of not getting more done....?
Because, you know, I NEVER pay any attention to this big fatty monster....
C’thulhu bookends on our Etsy store!!!

Ever wonder where I get my reference for my sculptures?
MOST of the time, it’s me.
Modeling for the Lovecraft statuette, circa 2000 or so. :)

Miss Madame and I wish you all a wonderful weekend! <3 Bry
I’ve just released six artist’s proof’s of my Lovecraft pieces ONLY on Etsy.
No Poe, Stoker or occult pieces for now, although I might put a few up at some point later.
Check it out. Fixed prices, no auctions and just in time for Halloween. While you'ret here, if you can give us a like, follow and favorite status, we’d surely appreciate it!

Getting a more done on Bram!
Be proud of your scars.
When you look in the mirror and all you see are signs of aging or trauma, be proud.
Crows feet, grey hair, laugh lines.....scars.
It means you made it this far in life and that you survived SOMETHING. Maybe it was a divorce, a death, some kind of loss or just....one bad day where the worst thing imaginable happened to you.
You survived and you weren't beaten. You might have been brought to your knees for a few dark moments, but you stayed on your feet and kept swinging. Bear your pain proudly and never be ashamed of what tried to best you, but couldn't.
Be proud of your scars.

There are four of my Lovecraft pieces pictured in Guillermo del Toro's Lovecraft/Poe room at his incredible Bleak House. Can you spot them all?
It was a privilege to spend an evening in this magical room with the great man himself.
