bonus for pride month
Sometimes the canon queer character would never, ever, participate in Pride, have a Pride flag, sticker or do anything for their queer community and ya gotta accept it.

sorry i have not been able to stop thinking abt this
I think emma and jean are pretty noticeably foils for one another but I would argue that emma and ororo also work as foils. they’re both potential role models for kitty with totally conflicting ideals. ororo cares about protecting innocent lives and behaves very selflessly, whereas emma has no problem using and manipulating others for her own selfish purposes. because of this, emma is able to act freely and uninhibited in a way that ororo is not. ororo is always worrying about being responsible and never causing unnecessary harm, and that takes vigilance and control on her part. she feels obligated to limit herself in a way that emma doesn’t. I think this accounts for some of ororo’s initial dislike of emma. emma’s disregard for the well-being of others tests ororo’s patience, so much so that at one point ororo is tempted to give up her no-killing rule and kill emma in retaliation for forcibly swapping their bodies. but logan convinces her not to, because he knows that killing out of pure fury is totally contrary to who ororo is. perhaps ororo also envies emma’s unrestrained lifestyle a bit, even as it disgusts her - after all, she is certainly attracted to those qualities in yukio.
what’s interesting is that, as both characters grow and develop over time, they become a bit more like each other: emma becomes more caring and responsible, and ororo becomes more hardened and capable of hurting and even killing others if it’s necessary. I think these shifts toward a more complex morality are also what enable them to become tentative friends, even if they get on each other’s nerves at times. I find their dynamic fascinating and I would love to see more of it.
me to my irl friends: despite his many flaws & crimes i still find armand quite charming
me on here to you guys: armand is like if a kitten was an angel. he should be the judge jury and executioner of our society
i think the angriest ive ever made someone on reddit was when they used an emoji while arguing and i said "What is this tiny yellow picture"
if i was in an alien movie i'd be luring the xenomorph into a hot wok and adding chili, garlic, ginger, shaoxin wine, scallions, white pepper and sesame oil
