Valsirenn really presents an interesting character to me, both in terms of personal tragedy and overall story. The Psijic Order is all about being distant watchers by their own admission, and strongly encourage their newer initiates to let go of their old ties to their homelands/communities. Which makes me wonder how much Valsirenn has internalized that sort of thinking in regards to her own personal relationships.

Anyway she’s a delight and the Psijic Order is in good hands tbh.

Summerset is all nautical and I love it, and it’s a theme I think I’m gonna incorporate into Vedryn’s character more often.

Vedryn Sadri wants nothing more than to gain a position in the House of Reveries, using a mixture of magic and acrobatic tomfoolery to earn laughter from the crowds. But getting dragged into this whole Psijic nonsense is putting a serious damper on that idea.
