Gonna be slow this week, if you haven’t noticed yet. My computer broke for one full day (but we repaired it by now) and I’m physically attending school this week (which is very, very stressful).  I’ll be lurking when I can but probably no writing till weekend.              THE LINGERING TASTE OF IMPERFECTION and blood rarely left his mind – and in this moment it merely evoked his ANGER, furious and  r e l e n t l e s s  like the pitch-black ABYSS inside his heart. Sometimes it was quite difficult to control these emotions – this impatient THIRST for crimson red his very master had taught him so many years ago. It made his task so much easier – it made it easier to forget what he had  d o n e. And yet for his unreachable, numb façade to be read like an open, well-written book – to be unknowingly   u s e d  by the other’s SCHEMES – there was naught to forgive. It could not be forgotten.

            THE HARBINGER WAS NO FOOL to not know from the very beginning that he was naught more but a PAWN on the board of the gods –yet he could not accept betrayal of one he had believed to be a FRIEND. It was not pride who fueled his hatred; his spiteful formed lips. It was not pride who lead his steps, who made him  b e c o m e   an ENEMY of all living beings.

               BENEATH HIS CURRENTLY CALMING FEATURES his own raging FIRE was boiling, standing right at the edge of what could be naught but the end. C o n f r o n t e d  with the horrifying TRUTH which defined the very CORE of this world, he could merely remember all the sacrifices, the crimson red he had left behind.

Please take this moment as an excuse to ramble about anything to do with Childe: something you love about your portrayal of him, one of your headcanons, or something you've been dying to talk about regarding our favourite Harbinger but never had a good enough reason to. ❞ asked by @tartabinger​ | unprompted.

AYYYY ANOTHER COMRADE. I usually ramble a looooooot anyway so… :V So guess I’m rambling. 

Well, I honestly consider it challenging to roleplay Ajax despite my wide experience in roleplaying villains, antagonists and strength-obsessed muses in general. And I actually hope I am able to roleplay all aspects of him, not only the good or the bad. For instance, I sometimes feel like the fandom forgets about either his bloodthirsty or his soft side and merely consider one of them. However, they are all part of him and I hope I can develop this properly with everyone here!

From how I view it, although I have mentioned as much often enough long before my hiatus, he indeed is a ticking time bomb whose general course of actions might be predictable for people like Zhongli or Tsaritsa who have lived thousands of years - but who is quite unreadable for anyone else. No, even for them it would be impossible to predict when he changes his mind and acts ruthless and impulsive – one of the reasons why the other Harbingers are quite averse in cooperating with him willingly. Especially considering the fact that it is indeed canon that not even his own family knew how to control him after the corruption of his mind in the Abyss and relentless training through his master.

He can snap; but one his biggest principles is also that he does strive for freedom – one of the many reasons why he is on this bloody path of crushing the old gods. So this is where his charming part comes into play, I believe – as he personally does not enjoy to be shackled quite ironically even, considering his devotion to Tsaritsa. I rather roleplay him as villain, in fact – he is still loyal to the Fatui, after all. Beneath this smiling façade he is does not easily trust anyone – or have feelings for another. My portrayal, in some sense, made him quite numb due to having that had happened in the past – and, to add this again, he does have a minior crush on the Tsaritsa as well. From how I write him he is working well as villain who merely seeks to reach his own goal.

But I do have a soft spot for his side which he shows to his family! I mean it’s possible for others to become as important to him but it requires patience, a lot of time and also trust. So how do I write him? Manipulative, very often. Impulsive. Sometimes cruel. Charming but treacherous. All of that if he has no direct relation to the person he interacts with. This makes the most sense to me as I do not view him to be a soft all the time. He actually rarely ever is.

Another reason why this muse is so much fun. It’s tough to say what he will do next as he wears this mask of his!! uvu

Eh. So I noticed something while digging through some blogs who followed me while I was gone. Okay, real talk for some clarification, I guess.  I legit do not care what you guys are shipping. It’s your blog, it’s your ships. The only thing which gets me if people are shipping someone like Klee (so yes, actual children) with an adult for example - but that should be obvious, right? But everything else? It’s free real estate, man.  I’m too old and have no energy to deal with ship drama - honestly, just happily sail away with everything you love!!  Also, just to say something controversial: I consider both Lumine & Aether to be adults; we all know that both of them are not even human to begin with and had, unlike the common people, powers equal to those of gods. Let alone the fact that when they got separated that one of them lived for several centuries before the current plot even happened. Oh, yeah, the same goes with Venti. Looks young but is actually the wine-loving old archon everyone knows. You know what I mean. And that’s all I’m going to say about this.  So yeah, remember guys: your opinion matters and is valid, but don’t force it on others. If people see things differently from you it doesn’t mean they are wrong. If they do not like the ship you love and even ship something you hate, there’s no reason to get angry about it. So let’s hold each other’s hands instead and have some fun here without anything petty happening, alright? uvu

Like this thing, if you’re 1000% fine with me invading your ask box with my portrayal of Childe/Tartaglia, replying to your posts and posting unprompted stuff for you! These might be rare, but it’s good to know who is okay with it!

Keep in mind, however, that I’m a novella writer first and foremost, so the things I could possibly leave for you might be lengthy. Just be willing to bear with it, alright?

My portrayal can be pretty dark at times, just reminding you of possible consequences!
