Ok so my brother bullied me to hell for this because he doesn't see my vision. Tbf even I think most of the stuff I think about shinsai are mental gymnastics but now I really feel like this

Rant (patheticposting)

I’m replaying V3 with my brother (its his first time playing btw) and of course I had to do Korekiyo’s FTE’s because 𝔰𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔰𝔞𝔦 𝔥𝔢𝔥… Idk if I’ve said it before but the reason I started to like the ship in the first place is because of those, especially the last one. The thing is that I didn’t remember the last event had voice acting for one of the lines and I’m still so touched bc 😭😭😭 Kiyo sounds so happy and sincere when he asks Shuichi to travel with him 😭 and the dialogue progression was also so funny bc he was trying to make his invitation more subtle with the field work stuff just for Shuichi to be a pussy/aff and say nooo I don’t want to risk my life lol so Kiyo had to be more straightforward and actually tell him he just wanted to travel with him 😭😭😭

But in general, those FTE’s really are very special and I think they portray Kiyo and Shuichi’s bond so beautifully. It’s so cute to see just how much Shuichi actually enjoyed spending time with Kiyo, even if it just meant to listen to him yapping about his interests (which is something I myself value a lot in any relationship I have, both being listened to and listen to what the other has to say); they were both so clearly comfortable with each other, like even if Shuichi got a little freaked out sometimes he was still very willing to continue spending time with Kiyo (of course, he’s a videogame character so we are the ones who actually decide that for him, but Shuichi actually shows when he’s fed up of what another character is saying, for example).

Not only that but the way they interact shows they are actually very compatible. I just know they would’ve made a GREAT team if they were given the chance, because of how observant, analytical, and critical they can be, for example, I see a little of this on Chapter two’s investigation; that’s why most of the Au’s I make in my head consist mainly of Shuichi and Kiyo doing detective work together in any way… there’s a really fun dynamic in that I believe….

To sum it up I just really like shinsai ok? Idc if its from a romantic view or mere friendship, those two would’ve been a really good duo even if they don’t look like they have a lot in common at first. I’m so glad FTE’s exist in danganronpa they’re sooo important for character dynamics.
