Hey guys and gals!!! I know this is completely unrelated to cosplay, however I want to share something personal with you all. A little while ago, I found that I was gender fluid. Meaning I like dressing as a male and a female. However, recently my desire to look like a male has been way more prominent than it has to look like a female. So, I bought myself a binder and put on a fake beard to give the appearance of a more masculine me. I can not explain to you the happiness I feel inside every time I look at myself in the mirror :] If you feel the same as me, don't be afraid to show yourself for who you are. You are perfect in every way <3 Be proud of the way you were born!

Hello~ I love you Garrus cosplay it's absolutely fantastic! I myself am going to start working my my own cosplay of him. I was wondering if you had any tips, suggestions, tutorials or resources that really helped you that you'd be willing to share. His cosplay is challenging and you really have to put your mind to it and never give up :] However, it is extremely rewarding when you finish!
I don’t know if you are making a prosthetic but if you are, I recommend going through the process of a latex mask. First you have to make a lifecast of your head. Here is the tutorial I used to make mine: http://www.furnation.com/Wookiee/techniques/Plaster%20cast/index.html
After you do that, you are going to sculpt his head on the lifecast you just made. Use Plastalina Clay. Here is a tutorial I used to walk me through the process of making the mold: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8SLVAnyVyI

As for the armor, I made wire frames for all of the pieces from 14g galvanized steel wire. Then covered the frames with EVA foam. I then used a combination of EVA foam and craft foam to get the raised and sunken details.
