[NEWS] BTS are officially partial owners of Big Hit Entertainment!!

More congrats to BTS. In Big Hit’s registration statement today ahead of its IPO in October, each member has received 68,385 shares of their agency and each share will be worth up to $113 when the agency goes IPO this year. BTS members will be granted 68,385 shares each, which is predicted to be worth around 9.2 billion won ($7.7M), given that each share is worth 135,000 won.

To put into perspective the only other entertainment company to offer their artists stocks was SM Entertainment and they only offered 1% of what BTS got to ALL of their idols split. AND they still had to pay for them and with limits. Add to that, how BigHit is currently worth more than what SM was worth at the time as Big Hit Entertainment may end up pulling off Korea’s biggest IPO in years.

Imagine being SO successful that you can causally invest in yourself. Wow! We’re truly one step closer to JinHit Ent.
