The St. Rosemary Academy is the perfect boarding school for the lucky ones who have rich parents. It’s the elite. Only about 8% are not rich, or even poor. They are getting in with the help of scholarships. It’s for statistic. Everyone knew that.
This school is ruled by richness. Those without these privileges are meeting the hell in this place. The pretty folk bully the poor, and the poor endure it silently.
And why? Because all of them believe that this school is the ticket to the world of money.
Jimin just came back to his room as he heard the silent sobbing sounds. With a deep sigh he closed the door and looked at the mess on Jungkooks side. Clothes were spread on the floor and the stuff on his desk were all over the place. That was unusual. Normally Jungkook was very organized.
And then there was Jungkook himself. The always bratty and mean rich bad boy on this school. The one who created the bullying rule. He was so weak right now. He was under countless blankets. But even that couldn’t subdue the crying. “Jungkook…”
The younger one didn’t answer or even move an inch. He already knew that Jimin was here. They texted each other just a few seconds ago. A chat that still felt unreal for both of them.
With slow hesitate steps Jimin crossed the room and stops right in front of Jungkooks bed. He put his phone in his back pocket and ponder what he should do now. “Hey, uhm… should I call Seokjin or Yoongi?”
At first Jungkook didn’t say anything in return. Jimin patiently waited and didnt know why he didn’t just leave and let the younger deal with his problems on his owns. They weren’t even close to friends after all. “Should I-”
Suddenly Jungkook pushed the blankets back and sat up. His eyes were red and teary. “No…” He wiped his tears away with his hands and hug his knees to his chest. “Can I ask you something?”
Jimin gulped. He was shocked to see Jungkook like this. Sure, he already saw him weak the one time in the swimming hall. And after the news about the engagement as well. But never like this. Something must have happened. “Go ahead.” Jimin had to clear his throat because he felt a big lump in it.
“Can you like… hug me? Or I mean, something like a hug? Just… lay you’re arms on my shoulder or something? I just… I need… I…”
Jungkook bit his lip and seemed lost for words. He blushed a bit. Maybe out of embarrassment.
Jimin eyes widened. He didn’t know what to say to this. Very slowly, almost like someone put on the slow motion button, he sat down beside Jungkook. “Okay…”
Awkwardly he lifted his arm and placed it on Jungkooks shoulder. It was weird. If felt weird. “Like this?” He wanted to punch himself in the face. Why couldn’t he just shut up?
But Jungkook only nodded and closed his eyes. He took a deep breathe and put his forehead on his knees.
