[ID: a digital comic featuring Jon and Martin from the Magnus Archives podcast. In the first panel, they are featured resting up against a pillar together. The Panopticon is visible in the distance. Martin has his eyes closed and is leaning against Jonâs chest, and Jon has an arm slung over Martinâs shoulders and is looking at his hands with a worried expression. He is covered in eyes. As he looks, an eye on the palm of his hand blinks, and Jon recoils, saying, âEw.â Martin cracks an eye open, saying, âJon?â.
Jon says, âMartin - itâs okay. I -â He breaks off, covering his face with his hand. Martin says, âJon?â, and Jon says, âThey wonât go away. The eyes.â Various parts of his body are pictured, all covered in eyes, and at the centre of the panel Martinâs eyes are also pictured where heâs looking at Jon. Martin embraces him, saying âOh, Jon.â, while Jon says, âEver since I - Sasha -â. He holds a hand up to his face again, and Martin hesitates, and then cups his head and presses a kiss to his forehead, saying, âUh uh uh - itâs okay, itâs okay.â
Jon pulls away a little, saying, âOkay? I -â. Martin asks, âJon?â, and Jon continues, âWhat if they never go away? Will I stay a monster?â He looks away, and his eyes begin to glow. The panels depicting his movement are broken up by borders of little yellow eyes.
Looking serious, Martin says âJon. Stop.â For a panel, theyâre depicted as tiny figures by a rich green bush, if the viewer is looking down on them from above. Martin continues, âYouâre not a monster, Jon. Never have been.â He cups Jonâs face again and asks, âYou donât regret killing her, do you?â Jon covers Martinâs hand, looking tired, and says, âOf course not. I just donât want to get lost to it - be lost to you.â As Martin kisses his forehead and then his cheek, Jonâs eyes stop glowing and the extra eyes over his face largely close. Martin tells him, âIf you get to pull me out of the Lonely, Iâll help you through the Eye.â He leans against Jonâs chest again, and Jon links their fingers together, looking tired, and says, âOkay.â End ID]
