The best way to really know if someone is going to be good for you is to look at their friends because they are the people we bounce off and are the truest reflection of who someone really is and chances are if their friends arenβt that great then they probably wonβt be either.

Life after travel.....
So that time has come, my around the world with Ben trip has come to an end and I am now back in the UK. But what happens now that is the real question?!Iβm not going back to my old job that is certain. This leaves the door wide open for a new adventure, traveling has given me so many ideas that I no longer want to waste anymore time. Life is precious and I intend of doing something with it. Itβs incredibly surreal being back, at the moment Iβm still in holiday mode as Iβm in my home town and itβs so beautiful here. It will be a lot harder for me in Bristol I think. Donβt get me wrong I have nothing but love for the city but I have been there for nearly 12 years so a change is needed but for now itβs going to be lovely catching up with all my loved ones, long term though I donβt know if this city will be where I call home π.
Porthleven in Cornwall is a lovely little village. I have fond memories of this place, as a child my friends and I came here a lot. Itβs small but beautiful. We came here for some fish and chips and a pint of cider and a trip down memory laneβ¦.. Bliss.

Kynance cove near the Lizard in Cornwall ππΌβοΈπ¦
I was lucky enough to grow up in Cornwall but as a child I never really appreciated what I had around me itβs only now Iβve moved away I can see how beautiful this place is. After being away traveling for nearly a year I wanted to go home to see my family, and what a perfect way to treat the travel blues. This is Kynance cove near the Lizard in Cornwall itβs absolutely stunning and has a real southern Thailand feel to it with its rock formation and turquoise blue ocean. β¨They say home is where the heart is, well my heart will always belong to Cornwall.

A time to reflect....
So now as I write this the trip has come to an end and we are both back at our homes apart, after spending nearly a year together. Paris was a great city that has so much to offer. But now the adventure has ended and it's back to reality it's time to reflect. So this is the time I now decide wether I'm happy for things to be like they were before, or to venture to bigger and better things, the answer to that I already know. Going to all those countries and experiencing all the things we did I'm now ready to do something new and exciting, yes I have been made redundant which at first was scary but now I think it couldn't of come at a better time. Traveling with a partner for that amount of time is tough and you see things you love and you see things you hate, anyone would be lying if they said it was a walk in the park spending that amount of time with one human being. Ben and I just about managed to come home together so I think that's an achievement in itself. I guess now we are back we will have to see if we either grow together or grow apart (I hope it's together). Planning and organizing this trip wasn't easy but I'm so glad I did all my research because I wouldn't change one thing about it, every place was so different and had so many different points of interest. I'm going to miss that excitement but this isn't the final chapter for me if anything it's just given me a taste. To be continued.............

Lille β€οΈπ«π·π
The yummy dinner we had on our first night in Lille when Max and Annick took us out for dinner. This is also their beautiful garden and cats La Chat (the ginger dream boat) and Zip who only has 3 legs but is the bouncier than many other cats and has a great love for cheese. Aunty Annick knows how to do a good breakfast... We ate like a king and queen π.
