“hey, do you have—” benjy looked to his left, only to find jihyun curled up onto her side of the couch, already deep in slumber. the urge to take a picture was tempting but he knew his camera roll had enough photos of jihyun drooling for blackmail purposes so instead, he draped a blanket over the smaller figure, his eyes taking in the peaceful look on her face; a rare sight to see.

benjy wondered if there was a time she didn’t have her walls so high up. if there was a time people could easily worm her way into her heart, without having to put up a fight. with a sigh, he fixed the blanket so her legs was covered. “i wish you realized that not everyone is out to get you. that there are still wholeheartedly good people out there even in this shitty world but…” there was a small, wistful smile on his face now, growing wider as he continued, “i’m glad you let me in.”
