adam wasn’t supposed to be in this class in the first place. and yet here he was, three weeks in, sitting in the back of the class as he found his name (a name that belonged to someone else, but had the same first name as his and just happened to never show up in class) written in large capital letters next to jonah on the whiteboard.
perhaps there’s a reason why he stuck around for so long. not because his actual classes were a bore (which might have played a part nonetheless), but a certain mystery.
turning his head to the right, his eyes immediately landed on his partner, whom he had been sitting next to since the beginning of the classes but never really talked to, his apprehensive nature getting in the way. it would be a lie to say that he wasn’t intrigued by the other male right off the bat, the aura he gave off enough to pull him in.
and okay, he might be a little cute, too.
nervousness settled in his stomach as he stood up to approach him. the project was definitely an opportunity for him to get to know jonah better and he supposed it’s about time he introduced himself. “hi.” he stood awkwardly in front of jonah’s seat with a small smile. “i’m adam. your- your partner for the project...?” he pursed his lip and cringed inwardly, unsure as to why he posed the blatantly obvious statement as a question.
