The second piece for my zodiac calendar. I'm pretty proud of how this turned out. And I'm low-key already working on aquarius, and I'm suprr excited for it. Please let me know if any of you would be interested in getting a print calendar when I have all of the pieces finished.
Dreaming of Spring
I'm making a watercolor Zodiac fashion calendar, and this is the first entry. Let me know if you would be interested in getting a copy once it's all done. Happy last few days of Sagittarius season friends

Inktober Day 31 Paper Skin I made it! This was actually one of the first ideas I had for Inktober this year, and I'm decently pleased with how it turned out. I know it's not technically ink, but the thought and the effort are there, so it's good enough. This month has really flown by. It sefinitely doesn't feel like I've made 31 pieces in 31 days, but the evidence is right here. I'm decently pleases with most of them, especially these past ten days. It's felt really good to be creative so consistently, but now you can look forward to my usual inconsistency as the semester wraps up. I have big plans for a project starting this December though, so stay tuned.
Inktober Day 30 Speak No Evil I had a really hard time with the design of this one, and I'm still not super happy with it. It's hard to make something full of mouths and not have it seem super gluttonous, so I just accepted the Jabba the Hut aesthetic. I also wanted to include pistol shrimp claws, because of the crustaceans' ability to create deadly "claps" with them, but I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Inktober Day 29 Before it Was Cool Today's entry is inspired by a sketch I did a while ago in which I messed up the eye so badly that I couldn't erase it, so I just turned her face into a skull, but she still had hair and clothes. I also took some inspo from the old town churn grand opening poster design.
Inktober Day 28 Drip Drip Drop Loosely based on a sketch I did a really long time ago. I think it was originally a melting witch, but the face must have been ugly and uneraseable because I just had it completely covered in hair. Anyway, I took the basis of that aesthetic and developed it further into this natural witch of the forest, who may or may not also be a part of Bendy and the Ink Machine.
Inktober Day 27 Splattered I'm feeling really angry, and angsty today, so I ripped open a bunch of pens and splattered them around. It looks really cool, and I have three pages full of ink to eventually post.
Soon
Inktober Day 26 Keep an Eye Out This didn't start out as a zombie, but it started going that direction and I just went with it. Also, I son't know what it is with me and terrible puns this week, but it's a problem.
Inktober Day 23 Starry Eyed I really wanted to make a girl with star/galaxies/nebulas in her eyes for today's piece, and I did it, but it didn't turn out quite as clear as I wanted it to. So I added the star freckles just because. Also, I didn't know how I wanted her hair to be until after I drew in all of the facial features, so now we just have to deal with it. It's definitely a recognizable aesthetic, just not an intentional one.
Inktober Day 22 Do you even braid? I didn't intend for her to turn out so buff, but I'm not mad at it. Putting your hair in a braid/up Do all the time does work out your shoulders and back pretty well though (according to my sister who has hair that goes past her hips). I also don't know where I was going with the vaguely tribal arm and hip tattoos, but again, I'm not upset by it. Let me know what you think.
Inltober Day 20 Hear No Evil I didn't realize until just now that i put this guy in the exact same pose as "See No Evil." The only difference is that this one actually has four legs instead of three. Pretty proud of this. Especially compared to yesterday's piece. I was pretty inspired by the creatures in A Quiet Place if you couldn't tell. I'm still working on the design for "Speak No Evil," so hopefully it looks just as good, if not better than the first two.
Inktober Day 19 This is absolute trash. I didn't realize how bad it was when I did it, but now that I took the picture of it I actually want to vomit. I really didn't want to post this, but it's too late to make anything else for today. I'll try to redo this concept in a few days and hopefully make something that won't make you physically ill when you look at it.
