This was an interesting piece to work on. I followed along with a YouTube video for some of this but then I changed it up in other ways to make it my own. Part of this was machine stitched but a lot of it was hand stitched. I've got plans to make this again. It won't be the same but similar. This is a great bag. Recycled from some old jeans. The woven design reminds me how life is all woven together. And the three slip pockets that ended up hidden in the lining reminds me of secrets people keep. There's a place to hide the things but no way to hide them. (Note to self: get some sleep before assembling next bag, lol) Even with the one mistake it's still a super bag. If I hadn't told you you would have never known about the mistake. I like this bag. The camper! Is! Done! (Mostly) It was a very large project. I'm very thankful for my family and friend that helped with the reconstruction. This camper had major floor damage. Just about everything on this camper has been fixed or replaced. It looks great now but it didn't start out that way. It's a 1984 Columbia Coleman popup camper. The floor with it's giant hole was removed along with the walls. The a/c was removed and replaced with a newer a/c. It was an a/c that had been in my bedroom window. Still works great! The camper didn't have an awning or curtains. Alll that was something I hand made, along with matching pillow covers and bedsheets. The roof was resealed, too. And the inside ceiling was painted to look like clouds. It is the (almost) perfect getaway vehicle. Of course it didn't come with sink, toilet, stove or frig but that's ok because I probably would have removed it anyway. I cook outside and I use a cooler anyway. I made a plastic grocery bag holder that matches the decor in my new to me camper that I've been renovating. (Those pics will be shared soon.) This grocery bag holder holds about 20-30 grocery bags. I kind of lost count when I was filing it. I made it with a really long strap because I really don't know where I might put it yet. Haven't decided. Insulated water bottle bag. This one doesn't have the waterproof lining but it is insulated and will keep your drink good and cold. It even has a pocket for your phone on the outside. Just finished this water bottle holder. It is like the H2O 2GO by LindsHandmade but I didn't use that pattern. If I do this one again I will follow that pattern for the gusset. but I still like the squared bottom. The one on the left is the one I made earlier today. I just finished the one on the right. They are water bottle holders with a zipper pocket and a slip pocket big enough for a phone and keys. The interior is lined with waterproof vinyl for the inevitable spills or condensation. Easy cleanup. This is an adaptation from the Linds H2O 2GO, with some alterations.
