We might have crossed paths before, but we didn't realize it. Perhaps you were behind me at Ecoland terminal, boarding the bus.

You might have been the one sitting next to me on the plane to Cebu,

or the person in front of me in line for tickets to Baguio.

You could have been the one I stood beside getting off the bus to Negros,

or the one I asked directions from on the RORO to Siquijor.

Inside the church, maybe you were the one I greeted, saying 'Are you a visitor?'

Perhaps you were the one I smiled at during the Young Professional Congress. Maybe it was you.

In the thousands of days we've lived, it's impossible we haven't met.

Hopefully, next time, we'll both be ready and sure.
